Snyder Hall, a converted historic dormitory, features eight hostel-style rooms. These dormitory-style accommodations feature either one set of bunk beds or one double bed. Located on the first or second floor, separate from the main lodge, these rooms have access to communal shared bathrooms. Guests staying in the Snyder Rooms will share a microwave, coffee machine, community phone, iron, and ironing board, all of which are available in the common area.

Newly renovated, the Cobb House Suite is located within walking distance to the main lodge. It is a separate house that features a two-room suite. These rooms are located on the first or second floor, accessible by stairs only. Each suite offers a sitting area with a sofabed and a separate bedroom with one queen bed. The Cobb House also offers a full bathroom, fireplace and large exterior porch (with a shared sitting area).

The Large Cabins are located adjacent to the main lodge in a single unit. These cabins feature either two double beds and one twin bed, or one queen and one twin bed. Each cabin has a 3/4 private bathroom with a shower only. These cabins have limited forest and landscape views.

These rooms are located on the second or third floor above the lobby of Lake McDonald Lodge (accessed via stair only/no elevator), and although they are close to the waterfront, these rooms do not offer any lake views.

These cozy cabins are a short walk away from the main building and feature one double bed, two double beds, or one queen bed, and a 3/4 bath (shower only). With limited views of the surrounding landscape and parking area, these rooms are nuzzled into a scenic forested area. These rooms do not accommodate a rollaway bed, the maximum number of guests per room is based on the bedding arrangement. Please note in the comments if you prefer one bed.

The Large Cabin Suites are located away from the main lodge area in multiplex buildings. The cabin suites offer a sitting room with a double sofa sleeper, a 3/4 bathroom with shower only, and a bedroom with a queen bed, there is no door between the bedroom and sitting area. These cabins have heat, but no air conditioning.

The Large Deluxe Cabin Suites are located away from the main lodge in a multiplex building. The cabins have been newly renovated and offer a queen bed in the bedroom, a separate sitting room with a double sofa sleeper, and a full private bathroom.

Each room reservation requires a deposit equal to the first night of your stay (plus tax) is required on each room. Your credit card will be charged immediately by Xanterra Travel Collection for the applicable deposit on each room reserved. The deposit will guarantee your room reservation for an arrival beyond 4:00 pm.
If your plans change, you may receive a full refund of the deposit provided you cancel the reservation at least 14 days prior to stays from May 1 to October 15 and at least 3 days prior to stays from October 15 to April 30. If you cancel your reservation less than 3 days prior to the check-in time on your arrival date, your deposit will be forfeited. Please note that refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to inclement weather. Failure to arrive on the scheduled arrival date will result in cancellation of your entire reservation and forfeiture of your deposit.

Rates Policy: Rates are based on double occupancy. Each additional guest age 12 or over is an additional $15.00 per night. Rollaways or cribs are available upon request if needed. Please note most room types will not accommodate a rollaway and/or crib, please refer to the room type description. Rates and taxes are subject to change without notice.
