Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Cabins has been a cherished Yellowstone destination since 1936. This quaint resort is located below the steaming limestone terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs and is a few miles inside the north entrance of Yellowstone Park.
The main building of the hotel is wheelchair accessible and has a decorative lobby, a unique Map Room ideal for reading and relaxing, an activities desk, and ATM. Also located within the Mammoth Hot Springs area there is a dining room, terrace grill, espresso service, a lounge, and a gift shop.
There is a wide range of accommodations here including comfortable mid-range rooms, rooms without a private bath, and luxurious suites with a sitting room and cable television. There are also three cabin styles that are only available in the summer.
Amenities include ski and snowshoe rentals and interpretive tours around Yellowstone for guests. Visitors to this area enjoy horseback riding, hiking, and observing the vast array of wildlife here. Be sure to bring a camera, because elk are regularly seen walking through the hotel grounds.
Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Cabins is a non-smoking establishment. It is open from December to March in the winter and May to October in the summer season.

These Rustic Cabins are set up in duplex style and have one queen bed, a sink, and use of the nearby shared bathhouse with toilets and private showers. The cabin sleeps up to two people. Please note that these cabins do not have air conditioning, television, telephone, or radio in them, and they do not allow cooking or pets.

The Frontier Cabins, set up in duplex-style units, are simple yet comfortable accommodations that have two queen beds or the ADA rooms offer one queen bed. All cabins offer a private bathroom with a shower only. These cabins can sleep up to four or two people, the cabins do not have air conditioning, television, telephone, or radio in them, and they do not allow cooking or pets. The Hot Tub Cabins are similar to the Frontier Cabins but offer one queen size bed and private bathroom, plus a hot tub in the back within a private fenced enclosure. These cabins can sleep up to two people, the cabins do not have air conditioning, television, or radio in them, and they do not allow cooking or pets.

The Suites, located on the second or third floor of the hotel, feature a bedroom with two queen beds, a private bathroom, a sitting area with chairs, a couch, and the only satellite television in the whole Yellowstone Park in-park accommodations. All suites are accessible by elevator and your mini refrigerator is stocked with complimentary soft drinks and snacks. These suites can sleep up to four people, the suites do not have air conditioning or radio in them, and they do not allow cooking or pets.
