Kaibab Lodge is the closest accommodation to the north entrance of the Grand Canyon National Park. It is only five miles to the entrance of the Park and only 18 miles to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The seasonal lodge is open from May 15 to November 5. The Kaibab Lodge consists of a variety of cabins and units that sleep from two to eight people. Cabins and units are basic but some do offer additional amenities like a mini-fridge, microwave, sitting area, and a porch/balcony. The lodge itself possesses a restaurant, lounge, and gift shop. Views and quietness abound at the Kaibab Lodge.
Kaibab Lodge is, by far, the nearest lodging option outside the north entrance of Grand Canyon National Park. In the heart of the North Kaibab National Forest, the Kaibab Lodge is a mere five miles from the entrance of the Park and just 18 miles from the north rim of the Grand Canyon. A variety of cabins and units are offered to guests including a single room, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom cabins and units. Sleeping a maximum of two to eight people, the cabin/units are basic accommodations. However, all do come with private bathrooms. Some also come with a mini-fridge, microwave, sitting area, and a porch/balcony. With the remoteness of the lodge, there are no televisions or phones in the rooms. There is also no cell phone coverage in the area. Pet-friendly and accessible rooms are available.
At nearly 9,000 feet, the Kaibab Lodge is open seasonally from mid-May to early-November. The summers are relatively cool with the high elevation. The surroundings of the Kaibab Lodge are attractive with its meadows and trees. When not relaxing in the cabins/units guests can enjoy the amenities of the main lodge. The main lodge consists of the on-site restaurant, registration, lounge, old stone fireplace, and gift shop. Before leaving for the day to the Canyon or upon returning for the evening, the restaurant is open each morning for breakfast and each evening for dinner. Dinner is casual with a variety of entrees, hot sandwiches, appetizers, desserts, drinks, beer, and wine. A children's menu is also available. The Kaibab Lodge is the perfect choice for lodging outside the north entrance for those wanting to be as close as possible to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

These stunning new cabins will be available in 2022. They will sleep up to six guests comfortably. These two-level cabins will feature a loft with two double beds. The main floor offers one bedroom with one double bed, a full bathroom with a tub, a kitchenette, and a small living room. The Meadowview Cabin is a larger two-bedroom cabin with a loft and sleeps up to eight people. Both bedrooms are downstairs with one having a queen bed and the other having two twin beds. There is also an upstairs loft area with two double beds and rollaways are allowed.. The cabin features a full-size refrigerator, microwave oven, and coffee pot. The cabin also comes with a dining room table with chairs and a living room area with loveseat and chairs. A full bathroom with a tub. A large deck is outside the front of the cabin. Note: no cooking gear or utensils are provided.
