Very expensive for what you get. Average hotel.

Calling this Hotel “Curio” is a big overstatement. It is very expensive for the service and amenities you get. Very slow service in the restaurant and no service after 5pm! Rooms are very dated, no smart TV’s (netflix, prime video, etc) ans wall paint peeling off. Housekeeping does a very bad job. Cleaning is very superficial and no replacement of toilet paper, shampoo and towels. Overall not a high end hotel by any means but they charge as if they were.

We’ll worth the price. We stayed in the grand villa and it was everything was could have wanted: gorgeous views, spacious rooms, amazing kitchen and baths. Service was world-class and the food was delicious.

Fantastic stay right at the entrance of Zion National Park. Great staff all around super attentive and quick to act. Lovely al fresco breakfast. Rooms are ok (a bit small for the area) but with amazing views. Location and grounds make this hotel a great spot.

Location, quality and overall experience was outstanding. Rooms were very nice, grounds were wonderful. Location was so convenient to everything and, most of all, the staff was outstanding. Highly recommend!

I believe my concerns were escalated by the front desk staff at the hotel, but as I expressed to the young gentleman the night (or morning) that we checked in at 2am, I needed a late checkout. He, and I forgot his name but he was very friendly, cordial, professional and accommodating and informed me that late checkout is 12 noon. I understood as that is the case mostly everywhere else as well. We figured we'd get some sleep, get up and order breakfast (even though $30 in credit isn't enough to cover breakfast for two and coffee is $3 when I could get it free 24 hours a day in the lobby, but that's another issue) and be able to checkout at noon. When we didn't get up until 1030ish and ordered breakfast around 11 thought I'd take a walk to lobby, grab another cup of coffee and inquire if there was any way we could check out later than 12 as we didn't want to have to rush to eat breakfast and pack everything back up to be out in an hour, again considering we got in at 2am and weren't sure how long it would take to have breakfast delivered. One o'clock would have been preferable but 12:45, 12:30 or even 12:15 would have helped, but nothing was ever offered by either the front desk clerk (Rafael?) or the manager on duty. I was again told that 12 is the latest because "the property is small"? So I went back to my room to start/finish breakfast and get ready to leave and was told by my son that housekeeping already knocked on the door and was told we'd be checking out at noon. A little later, but still before noon, another knock on the door and it's housekeeping again! Can we not finish our breakfast and finish packing before housekeeping wants to get into the room? We have a late checkout! So at approximately 12:05 or 12:06 we're ready to leave and the room phone rings at 12:07, it's the front desk informing me that checkout was supposed to be at 12. Are you kidding me? You're seriously calling me at 12:07 to inform me that I need to checkout after housekeeping was at my door twice before 12 noon?!?! I let my feelings be known while checking out that as a Diamond member I expected better treatment from a Hilton property that charges a ridiculous nightly rate for what you actually get. I may have been accommodated or treated a little differently if I had paid for the room but I booked it with points. I have never felt so rushed and inconvenienced to leave a hotel, ever, anywhere with any chain. And this was from a Hilton property that charges $700 a night for a room! Anyway, as I was expressing my concerns and disappointment to the young man (Rafael?) the woman standing next to him, who I assume was the manager since she was wearing a different uniform, just stood there and nodded her head as if she understood my concerns but never offered an apology or to make it right. Kudos to Rafael, if that was his name, at least he apologized but he obviously wasn't empowered to make sure his guests have the best possible experience. I definitely did not, I was just a person that needed to leave the hotel so the room could be cleaned for the next unsuspecting guest. Beautiful grounds, great location, will never be back.
