As mentioned in other reviews the location is one of the best features of this hotel. You can walk to the village stores and the entrance to Zion in minutes. The grounds of this hotel are picturesque from the towering mountains to the clear river running through the back side of the resort. My family especially enjoyed seeing the resident deer who fearlessly ventured up to hotel rooms to eat tasty landscaping. I wish service had been a bit better. After initially entering our room we noticed some wear and tear in the bathroom and a broken door to the safe and asked for a new room but were told the hotel was fully booked. Despite our willingness to move mid week, we were told it was not feasible. The next day, however we saw travelers ask for rooms and accommodated immediately. We presume that we were not accommodated because we booked through a third party site, but who knows. Then there were some housekeeping lapses. After returning to the made up room, we found that we were nearly out of toilet paper and had to go to the lobby to get more. We also never got the conditioner restocked after a request. These minor things make a difference after spending the day hiking and returning to a hotel room expecting these things to be handled. Given this experience I’d likely try another hotel or resort the next time I visit Zion.

Hidden Gem in Springdale.

Always a great time at the Cliffrose lodge. The secret is out for this hotel. Best in Springdale without a doubt. We have been coming to Zion every year since 2008 and have tried other hotels because I left it too late to book and nothing compares to the Cliffrose lodge. Its proximity to the entrance to Zion is the best. We park our car and don’t use it again until we leave to go home. The staff at Cliffrose are exceptional. Everyone is so friendly and nice. It’s always good to see the same faces when we return. Arnold and Ivan at the front office always greet us with a friendly smile and go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. Vicky in housekeeping very sweet hard working lady. I feel very much a part of a tight knit family at the Cliffrose lodge. As much as I want to keep Cliffrose like it was and a hidden gem I would be doing it a disservice to people coming to Zion National Park.

Magical vacation

This was one of the best vacations my family has taken. Zion is so magical, and the Cliffrose is as close as you can get. You can literally walk to the entrance to the Park in a couple of minutes. The rooms and landscaping are amazing. Our beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed. The kids loved the pools and we loved the hot tubs! Can’t wait to come back.

Fabulous location.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the entrance to Zion National Park. It did not disappoint. We were less than a 10 min. pleasant walk which was along a trail by the river. We allowed us to avoid costly parking and the hassle of trying to find it.

Cliffrose is an exceptional stay with well-groomed gardens, attentive staff, soothing riverside access, and private access to the entrance of the park. If you’re looking for a top-tier stay in the greater Zion area, I would recommend Cliffrose. S/O to Arnold for taking amazing care of my group! He also has connections with the local guides in the area for incredible discounts, so I highly recommend leaning on him if you stay here.
