We stayed here for 4 nights. I have been to Zion 4 to 5 times over the years I had stayed at the driftwood about 10 years ago. It didn’t disappoint! I primarily stayed At the DP in the past but I firmly believe that it’s cost has now exceeded its value. I honestly believe driftwood is one of the best bang for the bucks in Springdale We stayed at the driftwood in a premium room. We faced the canyon. The rooms were excellent But the best part was the staff!! Kelly and Heather stood out providing excellent desk service. Kelly gave great suggestions as she is a local. Heather also did a great job with our requests. They were so helpful in all our questions and willingly met all needs The value vs cost for the room was a sweet spot in our opinion The only con is the covid rules. They don’t clean the rooms but provide all towels coffee etc that you need on request. I think they should offer cleaning service on request. Most hotels have moved in this direction (at least outside Springdale). So if you don’t mine making your bed , fetching your coffee and towels for $300/ night your good Other than that we loved it. On the shuttle path to Zion., within walking distance I’d bit and spur Outback and Dulivia. If the COVID rules are similar in Springdale, we would choose driftwood over all others On a side note the kings landing restaurant is on site. It’s a little pricey but the food was very good. We went the first night as it was close. Food was excellent but Better values are elsewhere

The hotel setting was beautiful and the staff was friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The private balconies were an added plus! (The only thing I would suggest is that a full length mirror be added to the room.). The location is great because the town bus transport to the Zion Visitor’s Center picks up at the Driftwood at the beginning of the route. Hotel stops beyond this stop often had to wait for another bus.

Exquisite views and location

We stayed two nights as we did Zion Park. It was minutes outside of the park, all serviced by a free shuttle, during COVID. Second floor room had a beautiful view of the landscape. Checkin people were friendly and pleasant. Only odd thing was fee of $25 to check in before 4pm, but we were bushed. Strongly suggest Bit and Spur and Oscar’s restaurants for dinner and breakfast respectively.

We stayed for several days around Labor Day in Sept 2021 in the Angel's Landing building. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was large and very clean. We did quite a bit of hiking in Zion and the pool and hot tub were very refreshing at the end of the day. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful anytime we stopped in. They were fairly busy, but it was still nice and quiet. We didn't have time to eat at the onsite restaurant, but the food sounded great. We also got some discount tickets for breakfast as Oscars. Their breakfast was huge and really good. Bus stop 7 is outside. The buses are hit or miss. The bus stop indicated it ran until 9, but it stopped at 8, so we had to walk the roughly 2 miles from Zion one evening. My only recommendation if you say at Driftwood is to bring a flashlight. I'm not sure if there are light restrictions because of the National Park, but it was always dark out. The ice machine is by the pool and it was a trek to get there.

We stayed 2 nights in a room on second floor that faced the red cliffs and field with deer...View was absolutely gorgeous! Huge room and bathroom. Loved having our own balcony to sit on in the morning and evenings, only 2 miles from Zion, with a shuttle out front but we ended up walking to the park because all of the shuttles were full that passed by... Only con was that the walls were fairly thin and both nights we were there we could hear our neighbors playing loud music until pretty late. Other than that, we would definitely recommend it and stay here again if we come to the area.
