Loved this charming hotel near Zion! Very friendly service! The maintenance guy even got an umbrella for us when all the others were taken at the pool. Rooms were very spacious. Great views of the mountains. Only complaint was that the beds were very firm. Loved it here and would stay again.

Large space with great views

Location, location, location! The views from the back porch of our room at Driftwood Lodge were fantastic. We also saw 20 deer roaming the property in the evening and early morning. Another plus of this property was the large room, with a separate space for 2 chairs and a tv. The vanity was also separate from the bathroom. Overall, a comfortable room and great location.

Quiet part of town with beautiful views

We had a queen room on the second floor. The room was furnished nicely, very clean and we appreciated having a microwave. The area was very quiet at night, we didn't hear our neighbors. Also loved that we had our own private balcony with phenomenal views. We hiked in the early AM so it was nice to chill on the balcony with a cold one in the afternoons. When we left, my husband and I both left our jackets in the closet. The front desk team very kindly mailed it back to our home and we received it within a couple of days. Overall, I would stay here again and would definitely request a second floor room.

Nice setting; not perfect.

We stayed two nights here. The room was comfortable, and the hotel is nicely situated close to the mountains and right by the shuttle bus stop. The cleaner had not cleaned the balcony, which had an old wine bottle and crumbs everywhere. Other hotels in Utah told us that they were not allowed to service the rooms during our stay because of Covid. This hotel told us it would be $10 extra if we wanted it done - perhaps a little scamming.... Nice restaurant on the premises, though rather expensive.

I hoped for better

The bed was very uncomfortable. The noise from the active family with kids above us was the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel/motel. It was mostly their fault but by the end I became convinced that the subfloor materials were not very soundproofed. The room had a ton of space and the property was spread out with tons of parking space. There was no breakfast due to COVID which is now just a weak excuse by a hotel property. There is no reason related to COVID that necessitates removing breakfast from listed amenities. Knowing this, we went to the local market and dropped over $100 for 3 bags of groceries. Not impressed with Springdale. There is so much potential for this property and the town as well.
