Nope. Take your business elsewhere.

I’d recommend spending your vacation dollars somewhere else.
I had made a reservation at the Driftwood Inn but never received a confirmation -- heard absolutely nothing from them. Assuming the reservation hadn’t gone through, I booked a room elsewhere. That was my mistake.
When I saw I’d been charged for the night, I went to the hotel in person to explain the situation and see if there was any possibility of a refund or partial refund. I understood they were under no obligation to say yes. I was simply hoping for a respectful conversation about the possibility.
Instead, I got Zac.
Rather than showing any basic professionalism, he was petulant, rude, and completely dismissive. When I explained that I’d never received a confirmation, he shrugged and said, “Yeah, that happens sometimes. Sometimes the emails don't go out. The owner still expects to get paid.” When I asked about a possible compromise, he scoffed and said, “What do you want me to do about it?” He told me the owners were “hard-ass” and that there was no point in asking. And he made no apology whatsoever for the missing confirmation.
I wasn’t upset about the refund—I had known they could say no. But there wasn't an ounce of courtesy, no accountability, and no sense that customers deserve even basic respect.
There are plenty of other places to stay near Zion. Choose one of them.

They have a voucher for breakfast at a local restaurant which was really good.
I would recommend it to anyone coming to visit Zion.

Home away from home in Zion

We had an amazing room with the patio with the view of the mountains, which was probably the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen from a hotel before. The room was very clean. The patio was perfectly shaded all the time which definitely made it enjoyable even in the hot weather. There was a huge window across the majority of the wall facing out so throughout the day and early in the morning, you have a scenic view that does not even look like it’s real. The shower was perfect and there was also a bathtub for achy muscles. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchenette with the refrigerator and Keurig machine and microwave were just right to ensure that you could have snacks and food as needed. The staff was extremely friendly everywhere we went and Kay especially could not have been more gracious and more helpful with information and things needed during our stay. She really made us feel at home and welcome and we knew that if we needed anything, she was there for us. The restaurant Kings Landing was incredible and we ate there two out of our four nights as the food was outstanding, the service was excellent and the servers, especial Shyanne, we’re so friendly and helpful and such a joy to be around. The shuttle stop to go into Zion is just outside the hotel. Parking was easy and there are many spots that are shaded. The pool is a good size and well kept and cool enough to make it enjoyable on a very hot day. There is also a hot tub. The grounds crew kept the place immaculate. There is a beautiful lawn in the back of some of the main buildings that is perfect for children to play and the soccer ball always left outside. Thank you for an amazing stay we loved it and you could not have made us feel more comfortable and welcome. Great job!

Came into the lodge asking if I could park in the lot since I have reservation. I’m sure if I didn’t suffer from anxiety I knew I would of realized I could park at the lodge but because I felt so anxious and overwhelmed the staff during that time from 1-2pm on the 19th. Listened to me let me vent and assured me parking is ok since I have a reservation. I just appreciate them for listening to me no matter how ridiculous I may have presented myself. The Lodge was clean, spacious and comfortable I would most definitely recommend and come back to the same lodge when visiting Zion again which I hope is soon. Beautiful place and friendly atmosphere and again thank you Driftwood Lodge for your hospitality.
Regards, Kathy Park

I have never written a review before but really wanted to share our experiences as we had the best time throughout our stay, a special shout out to Kay who was so welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area and National Park. We couldn’t recommend this place anymore and feel Kay was a big part of this! The room was clean and spacious with great views of the Zion Mountains, food was exceptional and the pool was fab after a long hike! Our first visit but definitely not our last for when we make a return visit to America from England. Thanks again!
