Almost clean and everything worked as it should but poor water pressure blew it
Newer hotel and I was very impressed that everything was reasonably clean and worked as it should until it was shower time.
The shower water pressure was horrendous and thus the hotel fails my basic test: is it clean and does everything work as it should.
The poor water pressure made the shower almost unusable.
I would have rated this place much higher had that been not been the case. Trying to be cheap with the shower cost them a positive review.

Visited Yellowstone, staying in the park 4 nights (2 East and 2 West). While north, chose to stay outside the park for one night in Gardiner, about 5 miles away. Though did not think much of the town, this Inn was very nice. Good location. Clean. Huge rooms, though lacking home-grown character and charm. The treat is the common walkway outside the doors. Chairs are set there. The view is stunning, a mountain not too far away. With almost zero or spotty cell and internet connection in park (separated from civilization), I sat outside close to three hours catching up on world events, enjoying the scenery, and emailing/texting folks, letting them know I was not eaten by a grizzly...yet.
With the price reasonable, this is a good choice if staying in Gardiner. Cool, too, when wild animals walk through the parking lot.

Check in was quick. The guy at the front desk was very nice. Room was large, clean, updated and comfortable. Immediately greeted by two elks feasting on the grass not 15ft front the front door! Coffee was well stocked in the room and fresh pot at check in. Walking distance to several restaurants. TV, WiFi, and complementary toiletries.

good place to stay for Mammonth and Lamar Valley outside of the park
we stayed one night on our visit to YNP with the intention to see Mammoth and Lamar Valley. it worked out as a good plan.
When we arrived after driving for 6 hours driving at 3 PM, there were no body at front desk. I called and searched different floors but could not find anyone. 15 min later I returned to the front desk, two guys were there. When I expressed I was waiting for 15 min, their only response is "well we are here now."
the room made up the experience. It was spacious, clean, and updated. The kitchen was well stocked with all cookware and nice bar and table for sitting. The bathroom is clean and shower has good pressure. The toilet had an issue at 7 AM after calling the emergency number someone showed up 10 min to fix it so it was good. There is no laundry machines in this place -- which I thought could be useful.
I liked the room a lot and consider it a good value good location for family trip to North entrance of YNP. If the guys at the front desk was any warmer, I would not hesitate to rate it 5.

Very nice hotel that was within site of the Yellowstone Park entrance. It was the perfect place to stay for my family. I don't have any info on amenities due to Covid, but the room was large, & clean. We'd stay here again.
