How can I put this... What a fabulous place to stay!!! Quiet, peaceful, excellent and very clean accommodations. Larry and Bunny put every effort in making their guests comfortable. The breakfasts were a highlight to start out each and every day (get the box lunches too!) Love this peace of heaven and hope to return!

Larry and Bunny have outdone themselves with this gem of a bed and breakfast. First off, it is beautiful. It is extremely clean. It is a comfortable spot to call home. The breakfasts were first rate. The rooms are spacious. We stayed in the Spirit Bear Grande room with a king bed with french doors leading to a patio overlooking the lawn. The stars at night were bright and plentiful. Wonderful overall experience. Plus it is 15 minutes to Glacier National Park.

My wife and 3 family adults stayed here for 3 nights in August '22. We stayed in the 2 cottages, once for 2 nights on the way into Glacier NP and 1 night on our way back from Canada. Technically there is a 2 consecutive night stay but that was waived since they had 1 night open on our way back. This is a lodge with about 7 rooms and 2 cottages. A beautiful, quiet setting in the woods. We paid around $395/night for the cottages which sleep 6 people comfortably with 1 bedroom and loft. The only drawback is the cottages only have 1 bathroom. Larry and Bunny are great hosts. Very clean facilities with a great breakfast. They have hot and cold food, but the sausage is the best. They even have a laundry room in the lodge they let my daughter use. I would highly recommend staying here for 2-3 people in the lodge or larger parties in the cottages.

Our family of 3 spent 3 nights in the Eagle Nest Cabin. The cabin has a bedroom, kitchen, small living area, bathroom, and a loft. It sits next to one other cabin and it is a short walk to the main lodge where breakfast is served. The property is very quiet. One cannot hear the occupants of the neighboring cabin. There is a porch overlooking the expansive grass. The porch has comfortable chairs which allowed us to sit outside, read, and enjoy the beauty of the 10 acre property. It turned out to be our only chance to relax our entire 10 day vacation. The property is 15 minutes from West Glacier. The property feels like it is remote due to having to drive on a dirt road as the county hasn't finished what they started. We booked the cabin thinking we were going to cook, but we found many good restaurants in the area, and with Bunny and Larry serving breakfast, we only used the kitchen to make packed lunches. Breakfast is served buffet style, but Larry was making hot items, so we weren't eating cold food. We appreciated their mealtimes being 6 AM to 10 AM, as one can sleep in if they'd like. One morning we got up early to get to the Avalanche Lake trail while there was still parking. Bunny gave us some breakfast burritos, hard boiled eggs and yummy muffins to take with us. We ended up eating the burritos once we got to the lake. We eventually made sandwiches out of the hard boiled eggs. We found many good restaurants within a 15 minute drive of the property. The property offered exactly what we look for when travelling: relaxing environment, close to activities, kind people.

My sister-in-law and I stayed at The Great Bear Inn from 8/15/22 - 8/18/22. We were tagging along with family and friends who were in motor homes on a trip through several states. We booked rooms along the way. We were a little nervous about booking a place “in the middle of nowhere”, and the free bear spray really frightened my sis! But honestly, this place is a hidden jewel. We absolutely fell In Love with Bunny and Larry, who treated us like family and stuffed us with their delicious and generous breakfast every morning! Oh, the fresh raspberries! The rooms are comfortable and best of all CLEAN! Check out the beautiful suite downstairs…it is gorgeous! Perfect for a romantic stay! Thank you, Larry and Bunny, for your warm hospitality. We hated to leave and hope to return one of these days.
