They have a well stocked continental breakfast bar and a hot cocoa bar, cookie, and popcorn in the afternoon. The food is excellent and the Snug Bar has thoughtfully crafted food options, cocktails, and more. The rooms are rustic style but have everything you need and the beds are very comfortable. The hot tub is very warm but you have to go outside to access it.

Nice hotel but not a great breakfast!

This is a three story structure with no elevator, BUT the staff offered multiple times to help us with our bags. A cozy fire was going every night and morning, with lots of seating surrounding it. It 's located about 10 minutes outside town at the base of the ski hill. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Whitefish.

Beautiful setting and building

Published Date: Sep, 18, 2022 Travel Date: Sep, 1, 2022 Rating: 4 We ended up with a room on the 3rd floor, please note, there is no elevator. My husband carried our suitcases up, staff had offered to help, but hubby was too proud to accept help. Not only were we on the 3rd floor, but you have to walk up many steps to get to the 1st floor of rooms. Enough said. The building is beautiful. There is a large lounge area with a huge fireplace, which we were lucky to enjoy. There is a small bar, the "Snug Bar", I think it literally had 3 small tables in it. They could offer a small selection of food, but not on a Monday, which is when we were there. There is a restaurant in the lodge, limited selections and they were too funky for us to enjoy. Note that the lodge is located outside of Whitefish, about 10 minutes or so, and it's up a steep and winding road. There is very limited parking outside the lodge - if you don't get a space, you will park across the road in a gravel parking area. Management, it would be nice if there was a bit of lighting there to help navigate the area, or a set or 2 of steps so you don't have to walk all the way around the lot to get to your car. I"m sure there is a concern about light pollution, but surely something could be figured out - gets pretty dark out there at night. The bed was very comfortable and there were a couple of leather chairs in our room to sit and chat in. There is an outdoor hot tub which was nice to use. The breakfast was continental, but included cheeses and luncheon meats, which my husband appreciated. The breakfast was very good. I'm only giving a rating of 4 stars for the rooms/value because of the lack of an elevator.

The lobby was a really great spot to hangout after dinner. The only downside is it’s away from all the shops and restaurants but regardless I would stay again.
