Trip Advisor Ranking Seems Too Low--We Liked the Place and Would Stay Again

Published Date: May, 8, 2025 Travel Date: May, 1, 2025 Rating: 5 Well-updated regular Holiday Inn. Mattress was good. Linens were good. Room was clean. Bath was clean. Shower was good. FDC listened to what were were hoping for and spent some effort finding a quiet spot for a light sleeper. Other staffers were helpful.
I would guess originally built some years ago when Holiday Inns were the premier over the road lodging in the US. (But about a 99% successful recent update). Being a bit older footprint; the room was bigger than normal. Is not directly on the main highway, which may help the noise level.
Downtown dining and tourist shopping are within walking distance. Being a bit of a throwback type of place; there is attached dining and lounge.
3.9 average rating just seems a bit low. So I'll round up to a 5.0.

Great conference choice

They provided excellent service and kept the areas clean and coffee full. They provided coffee cookies and hot chocolate. Adjoining restaurant has tasty game chilli and beet salad.

Great Option for West Yellowstone!

The Branch restaurant is attached to the hotel we visited in Winter for a snowmobile tour. We used Yellowstone Vacations for our tour company through Yellowstone it is right at the end of the parking lot so definitely walking distance. The hotel staff had great customer service and very accommodating. The hotel was clean and cozy.

When we showed up, the front desk told us they had no rooms available and they never should’ve allowed us to book, but they had never communicated with us until we were standing in the lobby. They rebooked us at a less than desirable hotel and refused to give us any refund, though the hotel was hundreds of dollars cheaper than our booking at IHG. Very disappointed in their service and lack of willingness to correct their error.

Her attitude was very nasty and she shouldn’t be working the front desk . She was a bigger white lady . And the bigger tan skin girl the next day wasn’t very friendly either maybe y’all should do a little house cleaning on your employees.Everything else was great but there is no customer service whatsoever. Breakfast IS NOT FREE we were told it’s $18 per person. The room was clean and had everything we need.
