This is one of dozens of hotels in West Yellowstone. Not knowing the area, we decided to go with a chain, and the Days Inn had a decent price (for Yellowstone, anyway). I wish we would have arrived a little sooner to enjoy the pool & hot-tub. My only meh comment regards the coffee. I think every hotel should have coffee in the lobby for the guest that's leaving before breakfast service begins. We all know that in-room coffee is almost universally bad, and the little pods in this hotel were no different. Fortunately, there's a nice coffee shop around the corner.

We stayed at the Days Inn in West Yellowstone while visiting YNP. Our room was very clean and neat and the staff were very friendly. It's a nice budget place to stay when visiting Yellowstone National Park. It's convenient to restaurants (I recommend Running Bear Pancake House, The Buffalo, and Pete's Pizza for food). It has a small indoor pool with a goofy slide and a hot tub--we didn't use either of these amenities. It's convenient to get into Yellowstone NP. They offer free breakfast, but you'll want to skip that amenity. It's not good at all. However, I understand from the staff that the hotel has a new owner, so they are still figuring out the breakfast thing, so maybe by next year it will be worth it. Also be advised that they do not clean rooms while you are staying there. The rooms are cleaned after you check out. I'd stay here again given its cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff.

Years ago Days Inns were a good value and nice. Today it appears that many are second rate so wife and I tend to not consider them even though we're not particularly demanding. Based on reviews we tried the West Yellowstone one and were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Joseph and Lori at the front desk were good to deal with and took good care of us. A waffle iron would have been much preferable to what appeared to be previously frozen waffles. We're retired and do pretty well financially but in general the insane price of hotels will certainly be at the forefront when considering traveling again. Frankly I don't know how most people afford to - the trillions of dollars thrown at the public during the pandemic must still be circulating and hoteliers, restaurants, etc. are taking full advantage.

We stayed here after a few nights of camping in Yellowstone, and had a great experience! Check in was good, the staff were very friendly. The room was very big, and everything looked clean. We loved the pool and hot tub, and watched cable TV after a soak. For breakfast, we were offered 2 options: a cold breakfast to take in a bag or a hot breakfast which we could sit and eat in the dining room. We picked the hot buffet-style breakfast, and enjoyed biscuits, bacon, muffins, and coffee. We loved looking at the decor in the dining area. I will definitely be staying here again if we are ever in the area!

It is overpriced for what it is. Nothing special and to get up to a sack breakfast of a small granola bar you can eat in two bites and small muffin with a small juice was very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend staying here. If you can stop in a town not so far away and stay.
