Adequate, but just ok
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the only real complaint about it was the bathroom fan that sounded like a jet engine and the shower head the size of a quarter that felt like the jet’s exhaust. I would have added a star, but one of our breakfast bags lacked a spoon for the yogurt and the other lacked the cream cheese for the bagel. When my husband went back to ask for those items (nicely, of course), he was treated like an inconvenience. I would say this was the attitude of the front desk staff as well. No “thanks” or “have a nice day” upon checking out. A smile and a thanks goes a long way!

Pricey for a 2 star hotel
We stayed 1 night, ok, just a room. Ok beds, small bathroom. Good for a night! But as I said pricey😱Walkable to shops and restaurants and quiet.Pictures look better! Check in fast and easy to park.
Breakfast in a bag: bagel, cream cheese, apple and orange juice 😀

Clean, convenient, and pricey.
The check-in process was easy. The rooms are pretty small, and very outdated. They were clean, though, and that is a big deal. The wi-fi was horrible. 1.5 Mbps. The walls are pretty thin so bring a noise maker. The bagged breakfast was pretty good, and contained an apple, yogurt, a bagel with cream cheese, and orange juice. I was a little surprised at being asked if I needed soap, shampoo or coffee upon check-in. (None of these things are in the room unless you ask for them.) I felt like the hotel was over-priced for what I got. It was nice that it was so close to Yellowstone.

Good spot for a quick visit
We spent 4 nights at the Brandin' Iron Inn and found it to be a good spot for a quick getaway. The room was clean and large enough for the 4 of us, but was a little dated and was in need of some basic maintenance. The beds were probably the worst part of the room. They were very hard and not very comfortable. We visited during Covid so no daily room cleanup, so had to care for our garbage on our own. The daily breakfast, again because of Covid, consisted of a bagel and cream cheese, an apple, yogurt and orange juice given daily in a paperbag. The location to the park is great and there is a grocery store not far away either.
Overall for the price, it was a good place for us to base our Yellowstone visit.

Clean, Great Location, Good Coffee!
We spent 3 nights at the Brandin Iron Inn and had a wonderful experience. Though an older hotel, it was clean and quiet. The location is near the main road so we could walk to restaurants and shops. It was very near the West entrance of Yellowstone NP; so convenient. Each morning, they gave pre packed breakfast bags with a bagel, cream cheese, juice and yogurt. The office had coffee 24/7 and it was really good coffee. I would choose to stay here again on my next visit to West Yellowstone.
