West entrance to Yellowstone
We stayed here for our west entrance into Yellowstone. We were definitely disappointed in the accommodations. We were placed in the back annex close to where all the campers were staying. Our room was in need of major renovation, especially the bathroom, we had 1 Queen bed ( even though we reserved 2) , it was noisy all night and the price was very high. The only positive thing I can say is the front desk staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent. I'd shop around for better choice

Good location for Yellowstone
Our room 106, was very clean and the furnishings were in good condition. The bed was fine (it’s a king). The room had good lighting and fairly spacious and the ac wasn’t too loud. One review mentioned their room wasn’t anything like the photos online but room 106 DOES look exactly like the photos online. It’s a perfectly nice room. The property is very well maintained and the staff is very nice and friendly. There are many restaurants and stores and a grocery store within a few blocks some as close as across the street. We ate at Firehole Bbq and Paul’s Rocky Mountain Pizza, both are good and recommended by hotel staff. The location is great for the west entrance to Yellowstone.
Cons- the parking is tight. It’s very expensive for what you get, we paid $215 a night and that was after a AAA discount then around $27 for a resort tax, a bed tax and something called TBID so for 2 nights it was $483.82!!! They ran out of ice every morning. We heard a lot of noise from the guests above us and since the rooms open to the parking lot there was a lot of noise around 6am from guests loading up for their day. Bottom line- I’d stay there again if I could get a quieter room and the price was lower.

Excellent location next to Yellowstone National Park. Go early to avoid the crowds at the entrance to the park.
We were happy with our stay at the Brandin' Iron Inn. Cindy was a total delight and extremely helpful planning our itinerary of the park during our stay. She knows the park and has extensive knowledge of places to see. We had a great trip and would stay there again if we return.

Very conveniently located and I loved their website
Through weird luck, we got a room about a month before our trip! I enjoyed their website that said that if we shifted everything 1 day, we could get a room! Was it more expensive than the hotels an hour away? Yup, but we were able to stay in the park much later, which was amazing. We got the basement room with the kitchen. It was huge, lovely, and had basic cooking implements. The dining room table was big enough that we had space to eat AND have our dueling computers up without fighting for desk space.
The breakfast was great. Our favorite part was the omelets. There were restaurants open quite late within walking distance and market/supermarkets pretty close, as well.
Not the hotel’s fault, but there were some dorkwads who were shouting at 10 pm, 11 pm, midnight, 1 am, and 2 am, so we really appreciated our ear plugs. There was also a truck that parked diagonally across 3 parking spaces. Thank you to the hotel desk lady who helped us figure out where to park when we got back late and … couldn’t find a place to park. We appreciate you!
I liked that the shower had one of those bowed out shower curtain rods. The internet was a bit slow.
The hotel had its own Pokemon Gym! WOOT!

Great location. Reasonably priced for being so close to the West entrance of Yellowstone
The Brandin’ Iron motel was a great place to stay near the west entrance to Yellowstone. The motel was clean and they provided a breakfast with cereal, eggs, waffles, and a few other items. There are numerous stores and restaurants within walking distance. There is a grocery store nearby as well. I would stay here again. Hot tub was closed due to covid.
