Where do I start. Check in staff was just running through the motions. No niceties. Then we went to our room.....as my hubby was bringing in our luggage I decided to check out the room. Started with the heater/ac. As it was only about 39 degrees that day, I tried to start the heat. Nothing happened, I tried again, nothing happened. My hubby was then finishing bringing everything in from the parking area to the second floor, (no elevators) which to be fair we knew at time of booking. I called the front desk, he said that sometime happens and he would send maintenance to "reset" the unit. We waited 15 minutes, in the cold. Now it was almost 5pm so I was worried maintenance would not be in much longer. I recalled the Front Dest and he said "I don't have time for this, come to the office and I'll give you another room. We got our second room and I tried the heating right away, before bringing in luggage, ok it worked. I helped my hubby with the luggage, we were tired, and hungry so we just left for dinner. When we returned, ready to head for bed. Toilet would not flush. It was 8pm, my hubby opened up the back of the toilet and fixed by hand the handle. Then ready for a shower, I tried to adjust the shower head and it almost fell out of the wall. We made do. This property was a complete disappointment....to say the least PS. There is also NO free breakfast. They give you a coupon for a $15 Breakfast Buffet next door! That's $30 for a couple, not disclosed in their website

Friendly staff, offered room options, clean room, and comfortable beds. Last minute substitute and satisfied with selection. Close to North Entrance of Yellowstone, many local food options within walking distance.

Very misleading website. A very dated place.

I stayed at this when it was a BW five years ago. It is now a Comfort Inn (although rebranded) .Be assured, it is a tired, old style motel, which is desperation need of an extensive upgrade .The marketing is deceitful, if effective. I was so taken in, I didnt recognise it as a place I had stayed previously. I doubt the bedroom on the website, with the impressive timber bed, actually exists. The room I had looks out into a building site; the ones below me are worse, as they look directly on to a high wall a few yards away. Be careful too, about the “river view” rooms, for which you pat an extra $30+, .....the Yellowstone river is pretty ugly. The water in the room was tepid, and the heating unit incredibly loud and old. Previously, breakfast was included. Now, you are invited to pay $14.99 for the same breakfast, at the adjoining restaurant. I would be much more forgiving, if the marketing wasn’t so misleading. This is a tired motel, in need of serious money being thrown at it. On a good note, with the initial check in excluded, the staff were delightful. .

Stayed at this hotel one night on a snowmobile trip. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The view of the river and mountain were great. Several Elk even wandered through the parking lot while we were waiting to get on the van.

Room was well appointed with Bath & Body bathroom amenities. Unfortunately, upon arrival our room was freezing cold (air conditioning was on and set at 64). I could see my breath when we opened the door. Luckily, we had dinner plans, so cranked up the heat while we were gone. Never got "hot" even with the heat turned way up but we were no longer freezing either. Great views of the river and elk across the way. Darling little town and could imagine staying another time to see the sites.
