Nice location

The hotel is in a nice location right outside of the north entrance to Yellowstone. The doors to the rooms are right to the outside. The room was comfortable. It is an older location with low sinks. They have a fire pit and nice views from your room overlooking the river.

Doesn’t Look Like Their Photos - Not Worth The Price

★☆☆☆☆ Not worth the price
This is not a hotel — it’s a dated 1970s-style motel with small, smelly rooms that look nothing like the photos. The staff seem more interested in avoiding work than helping guests. Despite requests, our room wasn’t cleaned until the third night — when our reservation we left on the fourth day? And even then, no fresh towels, sheets, or supplies were provided. When I asked the front desk at 6pm, they were visibly annoyed. We didn’t feel like guests — more like an inconvenience. The only upside was the free washer/dryer, but there are plenty of other places near Yellowstone that are honest about what they offer and actually make you feel welcome. I’d stay elsewhere.

They provide a walking stick and binoculars in the room for you to use, they always have coffee, tea or hot cocoa available in the lobby and every night have a fire and free s’more kits available. When we checked in they gave each of us a reusable water bottle and there is a filling station in the lobby. So many elk near and around the property while we were there, that was so fun. Our kids really enjoyed the pool and my husband and I really enjoyed watching the sunset from our river view room that overlooked the Yellowstone River. We really enjoyed our stay!

Deceptive fees

Deceptive. Business. Practice. Think about going with lodging where what you see is what you pay. I wish folks would just be up front about things.
