The hotel was not as nice as the pictures showed. We had to ask for new sheets because they were stained and are room smelled like smoke. Overall the quality of the hotel was not great including the pool, hottub and lobby. Even landscaping looked overgrown.

I checked in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I inquired about a good place to eat dinner and got a very good recommendation for a restaurant just down the street. In the morning the breakfast was the typical BW breakfast. Everything was fresh, the food hot, etc.

For one of the towns more prominent hotels for years, the hotel wants to be the upscale hotel but with aging infrastructure and lack of service and elevators the staff can not make this a premiere hotel. Price vs value is not there

From the second I walked through the front door I felt welcome. Clean, quiet and no street noise or outside noise at all. The feeling of safety was a relief after just losing my spouse of 30+ years and traveling by myself.
