HORRIBLE front desk

Myself and a friend stayed two nights at this hotel few weeks back. We chose it last minute as we wanted to be near glacier National park. We showed up late and went to room, there was a bug on the bed, I wasn’t too bothered but my friend freaked out and demanded a new room...they literally put us in the room next door. Anyhow after checking out I had left behind a sweater. After pressing the desk to find it bc I knew Where I had left it in bathroom, Ben at the desk finally found it told me to use their online portal to have it shipped which I did. two weeks later I called bc it never showed up and girl Shawna said they would send but not for another week bc they’re soooo busy bc of covid. It’s now been Threw weeks I called today voicing my unhappiness about this and she said she just can’t find a box for it...could You imagine. For a Small little cotton sweater. When I told her that was unacceptable and I wanted to speak with her manager she told me I could not speak to her like that and she hung up. I have never had such horrible customer service from a hotel.

Back on 7/18 I booked a PREPAID stay at red lion, check in experience was great but there been so many other issues and nobody seems to care. First if all 4 ice machine on top floors were out of order so you had to come all the way down to first floor to get some ice, grab and go breakfast was a big JOKE!! Biggest issue was although my stay was prepaid, hotel still charged me for the stay. two days later when I personally went back to hotel, they told me the account department is on lunch and they will issue me a refund and will call me back as soon as they are back. Never received a call, 3 days later I called the hotel again to ask for my refund and I was told the refund been already issued and should be in my account in 5 business days. But after 5 days there haven't been any refund. And they charged me again!!!

Do not stay here. Overrated on reviews

Wow what a big disappointment. We walked up to the entrance. There was trash on an exterior bench. We opened the first door and there was trash there. The young inexperienced kid at the front desk was OK. The more seasoned rep beheld the desk could barely greet us or make eye contact. Worst off is this room is small and there blood stains all over. F. F F. I grade this am F

1.Reserved a King bed and was given a queen because housekeeping didn't clean any King rooms per front desk. We were still charged for King, no discount. 2. Breakfast consisted of apple, water, cinnamon biscuit and yogurt. 3. They did serve good coffee at the front desk.

We called this hotel hours before booking to confirm that they had a hot tub and pool WORKING and the lady said “yes, our pool and hot tub are working and have water, everything is operational!”. Upon arrival after booking the room we find out that the hot tub is dry and has no water in it. We asked for a cancellation but the guy at the front desk said “we can’t cancel rooms due to COVID-19”, which I understand. But they could have told us the hot tub was out of order when we called on the phone instead of lying to us. After we complained the man at the front desk thought this was some sort of joke and started giggling. Also there was mold on the shower, we called Red Lion Corporate and they said they couldn’t do anything. But RLHC told us there should be a manager at the hotel 24/7, but there was no manager on sight. We went to the front desk and asked for the Red Lion Hotline number and the guy wrote it down for us and gave it to us, we go back to the room and call the number only to find out he gave us the number to the front desk. When we went down and confronted him about it he started giggling with the janitor thinking the whole thing was funny, we are $150 into this and this is how they treat their customers. We sat in the lobby for a little while and saw that customers were walking to the front desk to buy snacks and stuff, only to find out the guy who was supposed to be at the desk was outside with the janitor taking a smoke break. This is unbelievable, if you are considering this hotel, don’t trust them, they will lie to you and after you book the room they will tell the truth, and when you try to refund or cancel the reservation they say “oh sorry, we can’t do that due to COVID”. This is a bait and switch, employee are laughing at their customers, giving people false hotline numbers, only guy at front desk taking smoke breaks. IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN KALISELL MONTANA, DO NOT BOOK FROM THE RL, THE HILTON OR HOLIDAY INN IS DOWN THE ROAD!
