A great place for families. I was with my family for a night but the room and hotel was perfect. We staid here as it was near near the park office and a pickup point for the Yellowstone snow coach with Yellowstone Expedition. The room was large enough for our family of 6 (mostly young adults). Beds and sofa bed was comfortable and room was adequately sized. The kitchen was not well equipped but we didn't need it to be. I wished they would have kettle or microwave. Breakfast was basic but sufficient i.e waffles (DIY), biscuit sandwiches, yogurt, bread and cereal. Drinks include milk, orange juice, coffee etc...

Clean, warm, and not overly priced. The staff was great help and the breakfast filled us up. The hottub felt great after a long day on the sleds. We picked a room on the top floor at the end of the hall. Quite and comfortable. It is close to good places to eat and easy access to the trailhead.

Room was clean and quiet. Sheets could have been fresher. Breakfast was a 10. Grounds were clean. Still, a little pricey for this type of basic room, but great clean quiet place to come back to after long hikes. (Quiet in late Sept that is. Weather was absolutely spectacular, 77 high)

After a week staying in the National Park Lodges, it was a relief to come to a very large, clean, comfortable room at the BW Desert Lodge. Check-in was easy and staff were very nice, offering a map and dinner suggestions. Beds were comfortable. TV and A/C worked fine. Microwave and mini-fridge in room. Breakfast was included in the morning and it was delicious - lots of hot dishes and the Belgian waffles were very good. Staff was attentive. One elevator for the building which was a bit rickety. The parking lot was a little wonky - coming in from Alley B the lot was unpaved and bumpy until we got up next to the hotel where it was paved. The location was very convenient to the Yellowstone Entrance, and very walkable to several restaurants and stores, with gas stations also nearby. Would stay here again.

This hotel is way over priced! The service was poor and our room and our friend’s room were dirty and dated! The toilet had a piece of dirty toilet paper in it when we arrived. The toilet clogged easily. The sink faucet leaked. They didn’t stock shampoo in the room. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaked. The towels in the room were old and thin. The only good amenity was the breakfast selection.
