Excellent amenities— much more luxurious than 2.5star
Gorgeous resort style balcony and fire pits. Amazing view from the back rooms and all public areas. Spacious pool and hot tub. Full hot breakfast. Reasonable Covid precautions but not over the top hygiene theatre.
VERY Small bathrooms and base-level toiletries.

Great Stay | No Elevator
The Holiday Inn Express Zion is very convenient if visiting Zion National Park. The views are beautiful from the hotel. Everything about the room was great and the breakfast offered was awesome. My only complaint was I was placed on a second floor in an adjacent building with no elevator. Be sure to ask about your room location if this is a concern. I was there for a week long trip through the southwest and had a 50 lb. suitcase to carry up a flight of stairs. If I had known there was no elevator, I would have asked for a first floor room.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Express! We stayed three nights in the last week of April 2021. Our rooms were clean and well stocked. You have a choice of having your room fully serviced every day or just having the towels, etc restocked and trash emptied. They have very pretty grounds and a magnificent view of the mountains. They have three firepits which were fun to sit around at night and meet some of the other guests. The pool is heated and the jacuzzi was nice and hot after a long day hiking. They offer a full-on buffet breakfast which was awesome! Lots to choose from including pancakes, eggs, sausage, bagels, fruit, yogurt, etc. All the staff were super nice and friendly and helpful. The town shuttle stop is almost in front of the hotel - very close. Tip though - if you're taking it to the park entrance, leave early - like 9:30 am or before - otherwise it gets really crowded and will take you forever to get there. If you walk to the park entrance (which we did once), it is 1.5 miles and took about 1/2 an hour. We ate at the Bit & Spur across the street (good), Oscars Cafe and Spotted Dog Cafe (both good as well). There's a market (Sol Foods) within walking distance down the street. Would definitely stay here again!

Modern, Clean Hotel with Great Breakfast
The hotel is very conveniently located close to the bus stop taking you to the zion shuttle bus. Lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops and cute shops nearby. The room was small but very clean and modern. The beds were comfy and they gave you a choice of pillows (soft/firm). Very extensive breakfast with delicious omelets (with vegan choices). Automatic robotic pancake printing machine - very state of the art. Outdoor seating area with firepits and lovely views. Peaceful, scenic and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
