We stayed here for two nights and would have loved to stay longer. My husband and I and our 2 adult boys stayed in The Cowboy and The Cabana rooms which shared a lovely outside porch and faced the beautiful back yard. Danny and Julie are exceptional hosts and gave us all kinds of tips for the local hikes and activities. They prepared a delicious breakfast each morning which set us all up for our active days ahead. We can not say enough nice things about this B and B. It is extremely comfortable, quiet, meticulous and a great base for exploring the beautiful Escalante area. We can't wait to return!!

What a lovely bed and breakfast Canyons is. We spent a night in the Cowboy room and enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend it. The room was comfortable and the decor was charming - see photos. It had everything one needs for a successful stay. The real draw is the porch where you can sit and enjoy the property. The property features a little sitting area with a hammock. The owners' garden comprises the back part of the place with a pear tree, strawberry patch, and other vegetables and fruits. Guests see this garden bounty in the wonderful breakfast served each morning. The owners are very kind and interesting. We enjoyed chatting with them because it's fascinating to understand the life of a B&B owner in highly-rural Utah. One of the very cool things that came from these chats was advice on taking a dirt "road less traveled" to our next destination. What excellent advice because we saw so many interesting rock formations and ranges. Totally worthwhile. One thing you should do if you stay here is go out after dark and look at the skies. The stars just burst and you can even see the Milky Way. I think anyone would enjoy a stay at this lovely bed and breakfast.

B&B with private entrance to each room - top quality

My husband and I spent one night in the Cabana room at Canyons Bed & Breakfast. Extremely clean, all the amenities and needs you would find in a 4-star hotel. Good satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Four units each with an entrance off its own 'front porch'. Gourmet breakfast of owners choice but overheard owners taking note of guest preference for the following morning. {Inquire if only vegetarian breakfast as no breakfast meats were served - just an observation.} Owners live on-site. Do not be concerned that this is near the main thoroughfare - we heard no road noise whatsoever. In addition to your front porch rockers, pleasant central garden area with shade and outdoor seating with misters. No pool or hot tub. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy basing here for multiple nights to experience hiking, canyoneering, biking, and such ... but 'sightseeing travelers' should study their plans carefully before staying in small town of Escalante. Top Quality, Very Clean, Quiet and Comfortable!

The owners, Danny & Julie, are perfect hosts and take a lot of pride in their B&B and go out of their way to be welcoming and to ensure a wonderful stay! We booked two rooms and they were sparkling clean, quiet and comfortable. They have a well-tended garden with flowers, herbs, vegetables and medicinal plants as well as fruit trees. Breakfast was delicious and we were even served apricot jam from their tree! We will be staying here again on our next visit to Capitol Reef & Bryce.

I normally avoid B&B's, but was drawn to the fact that each of these four charming rooms have their own outside entrance - a big plus. I planned on 2 nights but ended up staying 6 night in the Lodge room. One big reason: Danny and Julie. If you ask, these wonderful hosts will offer suggestions and advice, much of it off the beaten path and not found in the usual guide books. Canyons B&B turned into a great jumping off point for countless hikes and scenic drives. I highly recommend Canyons B&B!
