A Bit Quirky
We enjoyed our stay for three nights but were disappointed in the service and setup of the campground. Besides being next to the busy highway and active railroad, you could not park near your tent and the cooking area lacked water and a washing station. They list “housekeeping” as an amenity but there was none. I had to request dry towels, more blankets and for our trash to be emptied. The staff was friendly but we felt this location may not be a top property for Under Canvas.

The aesthetic of the Under Canvas glampsite/tents are absolutely incredible & that may be the single reason I’m giving this experience 2 stars instead of 1. It is absolutely overpriced for what it offers with additional fees and chargers (I’ll touch on this later). While the tents are wonderful, they are not very functional or convenient. You’re not allowed to have ANY food in your room and you must keep every food item in your car. If you choose to cook or eat snacks, there are a few communal grills and table benches by the front reception (which may not necessarily be near your tent). There was one grill open when we came down to cook.. and it wasn’t working. So we ended up having to trek back and forth from our car to get our own propane stove top. Having to lug all your cooking/food paraphernalia down for every meal just is not very “deluxe” or convenient. Why not allow food in the rooms or in the adjacent yard areas as long as you store in the car overnight? Or some other arrangement like this? You can’t even use your room functionally.
Under Canvas is “hotel-style” camping- so they provide and replenish towels and linens as needed. This is great! However, we arrived an hour after check-in and our room wasn’t ready. I, of course, understand that delays and such happen sometimes & I wouldn’t normally be irritated by it! But check-in as at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.. which is unusually early. That’s a 5 hour window for the room to be prepped from the previous guest to the next; let alone 6 hours because we did not arrive until closer to 4:00 PM. There were no bath towels available when our room was ready because they were waiting on a linen delivery, so we did not receive towels for a few hours.
Looping back to the extra fees. So you’re already getting charged an arm and a leg for the stay there (which I agree can be totally worth it for the aesthetic and glamping experience, heck that’s why I booked it! It’s a DOPE aesthetic). The Deluxe Tent was listed at $359 when I made my reservation & by the end of it, it somehow came out to $450 for one night after all the fees. Part of that was my pet fee, fair! But there’s a camping fee and lodging fee? I know fees show up everywhere, so I understand this is expected. I just don’t think this experience is worth $450 a night.

Nice Clamping Experience, but not Great
The website really makes this place seem amazing for clamping, but it does not tick all the boxes. As far as the other reviews on here, the place is really close to the main highway and train, so it is not very peaceful. There are a lot of other tents nearby, but that's what I would expect being at a campsite.
Check in was very easy, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were told about the free s'mores making around the campfire and other activities to do in the area.
The tent itself is very basic. There isn't any electricity in the tent, but there are two charged lamps that you can take around with you. There is also a warming stove inside the tent. The bed is extremely comfortable!
The restrooms are really clean and private. There is a closet at the restrooms with towels, so you don't have to bring your own with you.
While the campsite's location is a huge flaw, we had a great time staying here.
As for COVID, the staff was wearing masks and there is hand sanitizer around the place. The staff also serves the coffee for guests. I'm not sure how sanitized the restrooms are after each use since they aren't cleaned every time a guests uses them.

Terrible, Do Not Waste Your Money Here
My boyfriend and I were camping around Glacier in our van and decided to treat ourselves and go "glamping". We drove to the check-in area and both started laughing because we were so shocked we spent all this money to stay in a Tent near the MAIN HIGHWAY and near about 50 OTHER TENTS. We walked to our tent to check it out, we were not impressed with the Treehouse design as our view was other tents and you could hear the highway perfectly. We left after 15 minutes of checking in.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Things you need to know before you book
I was looking forward to staying at the under canvas in glacier. The website made it look like a really fun place to be. You do need to know however that even though they show electricity on a tent in the website there is no electricity in any of the tents. So if you have any medical equipment razor hair styling etc. you will not be able to use that in the tent. You will need to go down to the communal bathrooms for that. Also they don’t tell you that the woodburning furnace needs to be fed every hour in order for it to stay on. We had some pretty cold nights at 40° and woke up to No fire in the burner. We had rented the tent that included the shower and toilet in the tent. Those worked very nicely, and the bed was very comfortable. But in my estimation the over $300 per night is grossly overpriced. I will not stay there again.
