Comfortable Stay

The porch was nice to sit on and enjoy the views of the mountain and the river. The hotel is well located to walk anywhere in Gardiner. The room was quiet with a friendly staff.

Nice hotel, not fancy , clean ,quite looks over the You river. Walking distance to town.
Saw much wildlife. No restaurants or bar. But one within walking distance. All rooms have a balcony over the river

Expensive but you’re probably paying for the location

The hotel is easy to find and is very close to Yellowstone’s North Entrance. The rooms are clean and comfortable and ours had a balcony overlooking the river, but it was a little tired and could do with a refresh. Gardiner is a great place to stay if you are visiting Yellowstone, as it so close, which is probably why the rooms cost so much. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Wonderful 11 day stay

The room was very clean, kitchen was wonderfully stocked, bed was very comfortable. All rooms have decks overlooking the Yellowstone River with small table and chairs. Sitting there in the evening, we were visited by female elk with babies and mule deer.
Perfect stay, great accommodations!

Conveniently located

Published Date: Sep, 23, 2024 Travel Date: Sep, 1, 2024 Rating: 4 This hotel is about a half mile from the northern entrance of Yellowstone National Park and sits right next to the Yellowstone River. As I understand it, each room has its own balcony/deck overlooking the river. It was lovely and very relaxing. My room was clean and well appointed…met all my needs. They do not offer breakfast and it was a bit of a challenge finding somewhere to have a sit-down breakfast each morning. We found something but there was not much chance for variety. It was a quiet and peaceful atmosphere and gave us quick and easy access to Yellowstone. The staff was accommodating and treated us well.
