I really wanted to stay in this hotel however when speaking to Adam on the phone to ask if they were able to not spray fragrance in the room, he said that would not be possible . He said they clean and spray Febreze in every room so that "every room is the same and nothing is missed"....... So if you are like myself and not able to tolerate "fragrance" without becoming physically ill I would advise you to find another property. It is sad that people do not understand just how toxic "fragrance" is to our respiratory and neurological systems.

We stayed for six nights and had a comfortable stay. The room had a small refrigerator and good beds. The porch was nice to sit on and enjoy the views of the mountain and the river. The hotel is well located to walk anywhere in Gardiner. The room was quiet with a friendly staff.

Stayed there through trip of Wolf Tracker LLC Nice hotel, not fancy , clean ,quite looks over the You river. Walking distance to town. Saw much wildlife. No restaurants or bar. But one within walking distance. All rooms have a balcony over the river

Expensive but you’re probably paying for the location

This was our most expensive accommodation on our recent road trip, and the most disappointing. The hotel is easy to find and is very close to Yellowstone’s North Entrance. The rooms are clean and comfortable and ours had a balcony overlooking the river, but it was a little tired and could do with a refresh. Gardiner is a great place to stay if you are visiting Yellowstone, as it so close, which is probably why the rooms cost so much. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

After visiting Yellowstone numerous times, we knew that we wanted to make this visit an extended stay in Gardiner. The Absaroka Lodge was a perfect location. We stayed in a Queen suite with a kitchen for 11 nights. The room was very clean, kitchen was wonderfully stocked, bed was very comfortable. All rooms have decks overlooking the Yellowstone River with small table and chairs. Sitting there in the evening, we were visited by female elk with babies and mule deer. Perfect stay, great accommodations!
