Worn around the edges but worth the stay

A nice place once you got past the stained and smelly couch, and some worn edges on the window shades and other fixtures. The setting is lovely (do go out after the moon sets to revel in the stars). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The attached restaurant is easily the best dining for hours in any direction.

Private and Quiet, but Missed the Mark on Cleanliness and Service

We appreciated the privacy this hotel offered and stayed in a bungalow room that was comfortable enough for our family of three. The room was simple and no-frills, with basic amenities that did the job. That said, the cleanliness left something to be desired—it didn’t meet the standard I expect from a hotel. Additionally, the fireplace in our room wasn’t working, and although staff initially responded, we never received a solution or follow-up. Overall, the experience was just okay. Not bad, but nothing that would bring us back either.

We recently stayed at Stone Canyon Inn whilst ex-luring Bryce Canyon NP and the surrounding region. We initially were in a Treehouse room however switched to a Bungalow. The Treehouse was a bit too small for us and a little rustic. The 2 bedroom Bungalow was spacious, single level and fabulous. We also had dinner at the in house restaurant - it was excellent.

THE END OF THE ROAD. REALLY.

Stone Canyon Inn is aptly named and literally at the end of the road. Our bungalow was clean and well-equipped, and the bed very comfortable. The front entry faces an impressive cliff, and we were sorry it was still too cold to have our breakfast there. The open space just a few metres away provides a great view of the night sky. We enjoyed the soaking tub and the gas fireplace after a long day in Bryce Canyon National Park. Ryan's communication was timely and clear. We were sorry the restaurant opened for the season two days after we left. We took Ryan's advice and drove back to Eden, UT via scenic Route 12, and it was every bit as spectacular as the park.

Lovely and secluded spot, close to town. Accommodations were very comfortable and dinner at their Restaurant was lovely.. service was great and dinner was delicious. Would recommend to those who would like a quiet spot but easy access to Tropic and Bryce.
