We stayed four nights in a treehouse. The place was awesome. Beautiful views and nice accommodations. Staff were very friendly. About 10 miles to Bryce Canyon. Town of tropic has nice restaurants and a store. Definitely would stay here again.

Enjoyable stay; beautiful location

We had a great stay in Tropic at Stone Canyon Inn. Tropic isn’t a big town and doesn’t have much in the way of tourist infrastructure but this hotel is truly a hidden gem. Check in/out were super easy; we turned up an hour or so early but our rooms were already ready so we were able to settle in and head over to Bryce Canyon NP for an afternoon trek. The Inn has a resort feel with one main building and then luxury treehouses and cabins scattered throughout the property. We stayed in 2 adjacent rooms in a newer block on the site. This building, which has a total of 4 rooms, seems like it was completed very recently. The fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom area seemed brand new (nice touches) and there were traces of building supplies like unused nails & screws on the patio (less flattering). The location has its pros and cons…a big pro is that you are way out of town - and on the eastern edge of Bryce Canyon - so it’s very tranquil with minimal noise and light pollution…and the views are awesome. You’re about a 15-20 minute drive to the National Park, but only 7-8 minutes from the Mossy Cave trailhead (which is well worthwhile). Only cons are that you’re not walking distance to anything and Tropic only has a couple of restaurants so you might have to drive over to Ruby’s for dinner, if you have a longer stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when returning to the Bryce Canyon area. Strongly recommended!

You go to Sothern Utah to bask in the natural beauty of it all. Don't waste your time going anywhere else. Here you will avoid the crowds and enjoy peace, privacy, and natural beauty all around. If you are visiting Bryce Canyon your first thought may be to stay in the park itself, but all that does is put you among the crowd of tourists and traffic. At the Stone Canyon Inn you stay just below the park. You walk out your front door and Bryce Canyon sits right in front of you. At night you can relax on your own patio and gaze at the stars. This area is also so much more than Bryce Canyon. The Inn made for a perfect launching point to Grand Staircase-Escalante, Kodachrome, and several other destinations. Don't need a cabin or the treehouse, no problem...every single room is a hit!

We had a great one night stay in a treehouse. It was really beautifully designed and would be a fun place to stay longer. About 20 minutes from Bryce Visitors Center. Restaurant on site was well worth it. Make a reservation!

Each unit is an individual building & entire property is secluded so very quiet & peaceful. We stayed in a bungalow as it was the only unit available when I booked. It features a king bedroom and a living room with a murphy bed & a refrigerator and microwave area. The layout wasn't great for us as we had two people & did not want to share a bed so needed to use the murphy bed. It was comfortable, however, needed to move the sofa to open it & to get to the bathroom, need to go through the bedroom - however, would be fine for a couple. Restaurant was excellent - menu options are different than website. The front desk is only open a few hours in the morning & afternoon/evening - a number was provided if need attention off hours.
