Great Urban Cabin
I read the reviews and knew that the cabins did not sit in the woods. It was perfect for me. Explorer Cabins are across from the WildLife Discovery Center and mixed between a couple of hotels. The cabins are nicely equipped with a kitchenette, fireplace, and flat screen TVs. I liked that is was like a little house - not connected to anyone else. There was a fire pit outside and s'more packs provided nightly.
You will hear street noise and any people talking loudly outside, but that dies down no later than 11PM. They are expensive, but you can catch good deals on off-peak days.

Great family accommodations for visiting YNP
We loved our little cabin! It was a good break from the blah hotel rooms with 2 queen beds. My boys played in the snow outside our cabin after enjoying the free s’mores kits provided at check in. You are within walking distance from food and shopping. Cabin was clean and the bedding for the couch bed was provided. The bath and body works product dispensers in the shower were a plus as well. 2 large TVs and a cozy fireplace make for a perfect place to rest and recharge. No freezer or oven but everything else is available in the kitchenette for cooking and warming up leftovers. The local tours pick up here as well.

A soacious, convenient private cabin in the town of W Yellowstone. Relatively pricey but worth it if you like space
These are individual cabins that are part of the Gray Wolf hotel. They are part of the same hotel complex so they are not in the woods or isolated. Our cabin was very large for two and very comfortable. Switch on gas fireplace which was nice a chilly nights. You have a front porch but it looks out onto the street. A bit pricier than most places in the area but you get a much larger space. My only gripe was there were very few tv stations and we had to call for someone to turn the ceiling fan off. Very convenient to West Yellowstone and only 5 minutes from west entrance. I would stay again.

The website does not make clear that these expensive “cabins” are in a hotel parking lot. Our cabin faced a busy road and our view was a bunch of RV’s. The room itself is spacious and well equipped with a small kitchen area. We enjoyed the fire pit the first night but could not use it the second night due to a large group occupying all the chairs. Breakfast is not included so the room was pricey. Prior to check-in, I got two emails telling me that masks were required for everyone. I was happy about the hotel trying to keep us safe. I was very displeased when I checked out and the lady at the front desk was working without a mask on.

Great Cabin. I recommend and would stay there again
We had one of the cabins for three days/nights. It was a great location - just two minutes from the park. The cabin was clean. It had plenty of room for our kids, even though it was a pull-out couch for the second bed. Fire pits were nice. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.
