Stayed in cabin #7 for 2 nights, which was wonderful. My parents were traveling with us and stayed in cabin #6. We had a larger cabin with a King size bed, sofa, kitchette and dining table. The bed was comfortable as well. The cabin also had a front and back patio with seating. The back patio faced a farm. We enjoyed watching the sheep, horses and chickens each morning. The cabins are located conveniently near restaurants, a gas station, coffee shop and general store. We ate at Rustler's Restaurant two nights in a row. Bryce Coffee also very close by had good breakfast options. Bryce Canyon is about 20 minutes away and easy to get to. One thing to note is you need to check in before 9pm. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday.

Must stay in Tropic!

What a darling place! This family owned business is excellent. They have wonderful, individual cabins. The rooms are clean, cozy and spacious. There is a coffee shop, laundry and a YUMMY pizza place next door. Definitely going to be a repeat customer

The cabin was in good condition, neat and clean. Simple and basic but there was everything needed. Great location, close to Bryce Canyon and restaurants and supermarket. Too bad we spent little time and couldn't have a cookout. Nice to wake up with the rooster crowing.

Good and Bad!

The location/proximity to Bryce Canyon NP is the best part! We did lock ourselves out of our family suite due to 2 separate doors and taking the wrong key for the door that had not been deadbolted. This was unfortunately 'after hours' with no one in the office at 9:30pm. No one answers the phone number listed on the web site after hours (which seems to be anytime other than 3-9pm), but they do have a ring doorbell and staff were able to come, rather quickly, to let us in our room(s). We truly appreciate their timely response to that situation. The major disappointment is their "fully equipped kitchen". It is not fully equipped and the stove is half the size of a "regular stove". The burner plates did not fit correctly on the stove top and I was 100% uncomfortable cooking anything in this "kitchen". If you aren't expecting to cook a meal for your family while staying here, the place is great. If traveling on a budget with a family of 4 and expecting to prepare your own meals --look elsewhere!

Comfortable cabins with easy access to Bryce Canyon National Park. The woman working when I checked in during the late afternoon was very friendly. The cabin was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The dishes in the kitchen were not clean enough for me so I ended up washing them before cooking, but they had all the essentials needed to make a meal. These are duplex cabins and the people next to me were pretty noisy into the evening but quited down by bedtime. Not the fault of the property, but you never know what type of neighbor you will have for the night.
