I wrote a fairly negative review that I just deleted. I received a wonderful phone call from the GM truly addressing and understanding my concerns. This place is unique and just so happy they are willing to admit they are working out a few things. Regardless this will be an experience you will never forget. Be aware it’s very remote hence the dark sky and stargazing, bring some food in case they are still under kitchen renovation. Incredible unique place to stay!!

Had the most incredible experience at the dome with my boyfriend! Despite the chilly night weather, the inside of the dome was perfectly warm and cozy, making it so comfortable. The highlight was stargazing while being comfy in our bed—it was absolutely magical. Highly recommend for a unique and unforgettable getaway! And they had free smores and live music at night! Super fun!

The domes are amazing and they’re set in a beautiful little canyon. There’s a trick to keeping it a comfortable temperature in the desert (when it’s hot during the day, cold at night) but if you read and follow the instructions you’ll be just fine. The food was way overpriced for the quality (maybe they jacked the prices as a convenience fee not to have to go to town to eat?) and it was really hard to eat my steak I had ordered with my takeout with a cheap plastic fork. Also the service seemed a little chaotic, not smooth and for our takeout we waited an hour so that was frustrating. Other wise the front desk and servers were nice (just slow). And we personally loved the local musician who provided live music (don’t forget to tip live performers!).

We stayed at Clear Sky and Under Canvas in the same trip and we liked Clear Sky so much better. This was a true glamping experience with great location and a gorgeous view through the dome but all the conveniences of a true bathroom, hot shower, air conditioning and an excellent restaurant. My kids has so much fun with the disco theme.

My husband and I visited Clear Sky Resort and had a great time. What a unique experience! We loved the dome and the awesome views of the night sky. Our dome was comfortable and the heating/cooling worked well in it. The property is still under some construction but it didn’t impede our enjoyment. We went into this knowing it was going to be a “glamping”experience and not a hotel. We met the owner who recommended a great hike (Willis Creek Slot Canyon) and an awesome restaurant close by (Stone Hearth Grill). Both were excellent and he was very kind. All of the staff we interacted with were kind and helpful. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is that they are clearly still working out some kinks. Staff, while friendly, seemed stressed and underwater most of the time. The food situation was a bit ridiculous, one day you couldn’t make a reservation until 4pm, the next day, we got a text while hiking and out of cell service that you could reserve online. By the time we were back in cell range, there were no more reservations available. Once the restaurant opens back up that should help. I would recommend Clear Sky Resort but would say to go into knowing you may need to be more self sufficient as staff are overwhelmed. You can’t beat the domes though! So freaking cool!
