First off, what a spectacular location - right along the Colorado River with soaring red cliffs surrounding you. Quiet, secluded, charming, and a great base camp for adventure. The breakfast buffet was beyond excellent! The western movie museum was totally interesting - well worth a visit. Pool and hot tub were super relaxing (the bonus alcoves surrounding the pool were so nice). Visited the winery for a tasting - a very nice woman was working there - very knowledgeable. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Moab now.

Stayed for a group meeting and was very pleased. We drove from Grand Junction and it was easy to find on Hwy 128. We felt like we had stepped back in time on arrival. The front desk was friendly and efficient. Our room looked out to the red rock cliffs and the flowing Colorado River. The room was spacious enough and included a microwave, toaster, coffee maker and refrigerator. Walking around the Lodge was great exercise. Able to walk on a gravel road and then around on the riverbanks. Lots of areas for sunshine and shade. The pool and jacuzzi were adequate and they have a workout room and laundry area. Parking was available right outside our door. Adventurous people might climb the mountain trails across the highway. The Lodge is still a good drive away from the City of Moab. The Front Desk staff was available with clean linens and additional amenity items upon request.

The location is amazing, beautiful views, relaxing, nice staff. Rooms are clean and very comfortable with nice patios. If you don't use all the amenities (pool, tennis, sauna, spa), it is overpriced. Breakfast was what you'd get at a chain motel buffet. Not good. Probably won't stay here again but glad we did once.

We had an excellent 4-night stay at Red Cliff Lodge this past week. The accommodations had a western flare, but with all the modern conveniences. Although daily room service was not allowed due to COVID, the front desk staff was friendly and met all of our requests for additional supplies. Views of the 2000’ buttes and Colorado River from our deck and main lodge were outstanding. We had two buffet breakfasts at the Cowboy Grill and two buffet lunches at the River Deck, and both places were very good. We had four dinners at the Cowboy Grill where the food was generally good, but not consistent. My medium rare prime rib the first night was excellent and tender, while my medium rare prime rib a few nights later was tough and dry. I requested a rare ribeye one night, hoping it would turn out medium rare, but it arrived medium rare on one half and well done on the other half. I would have sent it back but I started on the medium rare side first. The only real negative at the resort was the tap water for sinks and showers was extremely hard, tasting like ocean water, smelly, and leaving residue on everything. The resort did have reverse osmosis filtered water at each sink for drinking and coffee pots which was a must. Too bad the whole water system was not on RO. The horseback riding arrangements were excellent and quite enjoyable to ride the areas where John Wayne had made several western movies. Although a few glitches at the lodge, we would definitely return on another trip.

Amazing setting, great staff but must say it felt a bit overpriced

This is our second stay at Red Cliffs and we enjoyed it as much as the first. Stayed for 6 nights this time. We agree with all the positive reviews submitted but given there is absolutely no housekeeping it felt overpriced. We completely understand and value the property's COVID restrictions. However, having to report to the front desk daily for toilet paper, towels, K-cups, tissues, garbage bags, etc. wore a little thin. Plus we were told to put our garbage on our steps first thing in the morning although it sat unattended throughout the day. The room rate we paid just didn't seem to merit the level of service provided by the property.
