Clean & comfortable!

The staff was friendly & helpful.
It seems like I saw somewhere that this place was rated as a 2-star property, but I'd give it 3.5 - 4. It's not fancy, but it checks all of the boxes in terms of being a good, comfortable, clean and affordable place to serve as a base camp for exploring the area.

The Big Horn Lodge is walking distance to the center of Moab. It is close driving distance to several national parks. The rooms are clean and quiet.

Family Friendly Stay for Jeep Jamboree

I booked this location on a recommendation from Jeep Jamboree USA about ten months in advance. It’s Pet Friendly which was a deciding factor even though we later decided not to bring our dogs. The Lodge staff were very accommodating, adjusting us to a non-pet room to save us some money. Check on was pleasant and easy. Our stay was great and the room was well tended when we requested it. The room gave a lodge vibe with wood panels and log beams which gave us the feel of being in a cabin. The lodge was filled with Trail Guides and sponsors (both a good sign in my book) and they accommodated our Jamboree departure with extra coffee and well staffed front desk each morning. Overall the pleasant staff made this a great place to stay and we would choose this lodge for future stays!

Old motel/Inn style. Double queen room with round table and 3 chairs pretty comfy. Very old tile floors not smooth like today's style. Big tv. Old style air conditioner in wall but kept room very comfortable. Ceiling fan in middle of room. Lots of lighting. Tiny bathroom (could be made bigger by knocking wall out and moving door) but shower was good. Not hard pressure and no options to change but good. Comfortable bed and excellent pillows. The outside pool in late September was decent temp. Want a quick and Delicious pizza, Moab Grill next door (in same building as motel office). AMAZING. Small 10" feeds 2 people plenty.

Great overall stay

Wish we stayed another night and had another day in Moab. Front desk was helpful, check-in was easy, room was perfect and clean. They also provided a pack n play for our infant daughter. Good location. Next to Moab Brewery which was nice and only 10 minute drive to Arches. No complaints and hope to visit again someday.
