A hidden oasis with stunning landscape, phenomenal food, superb hospitality and deluxe lodgings. From the moment we arrived to departing, our stay was just simply outstanding. The service was slick. The staff were friendly, super efficient and welcoming. The resort was refined to think of the guest at every point. Wonderful memories!

Excellent experience at Ulum. The overall ambiance and setting was perfect for our summer weekend in Moab. Our tent had great cooling for the warm afternoons after a day at the national parks. The dinner venue was perfect. Sat outdoors listening to fantastic musician both nights. The sunset is beautiful, overlooking the Looking Glass Rock. This location is inspired by Uluru in Australia. Absolutely stunning. The dipping pools and fire pits at night are a great addition to the experience. We starting the morning with breakfast which was an excellent. I highly recommend.

Best little getaway for a group of girlfriends. We laid by the pools, went for a quick run and hike, the food was amazing. Nighttime s’mores, live music at dinner. Everyone was so friendly! This is our third year going with a group of girlfriends and it keeps getting better and better!

Ulum is a unique experience for several reasons. First of course is the tent. It has a floor, bathroom, shower and air conditioning unit, and a couch and chairs around a coffee table. We had the good fortune to stay in a fairly high tent so our view of the valley and Looking Glass Rock was phenomenal but it does get a little windy up there. During the day the temp reached over 100 so we were worried about being too warm at night, but this being the desert it cooled off nicely and we did not need to turn our AC unit on. We were also able to unzip window areas on the sides which greatly reduced wind blowing of the tent. They do supply ear plugs and I'm not sure what happens when it's colder and you can't unzip these side windows as the tents do get loud with the wind. There are also pot belly stoves and wood in the rooms which we obviously did not need. The main building is lovely and has a very nice restaurant open for breakfast and dinner. The guests ate dinner outside with the sweeping view I mentioned above. There are several fire pits to cook s'mores after dinner. The sunset we saw the night we ate at the restaurant was no less than spectacular. The staff is always ready to help and they are around 24/7 if you need a golf cart ride, ice to the room or anything else. They are lovely. I would not hesitate to stay here just for a unique experience, but probably not more than a night or two, as you can not really "unpack" your clothes. It's a half hour drive to Moab and within an hour of "The Needles" section (which is for hiking only) of Canyonlands National Park. Also, the sky at night is phenomenal!
