If you like taquitos, that’s what is for breakfast. We elected to go elsewhere. They have fresh cookies and popcorn in lobby all day long. The cookies are so yummy! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a small issue with the room and Kelly (super staff member) at the front desk was very efficient in moving us to a different room. The entire staff are VERY accomodating and will work quickly to resolve any issues related to your stay. Great pool in the summer!!

Mediocre hotel with lingering smells and terrible soundproofing

Published Date: Sep, 14, 2022 Travel Date: Sep, 1, 2022 Rating: 1 Having stayed at this hotel last year and being a dedicated review reader, I booked it for two nights over Labor Day weekend. I remembered that the kids enjoyed the amenities (pool, bikes, kayaks) and that the hotel was close to downtown. What a difference a year makes. Being at capacity, I discovered that this hotel has HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SOUNDPROOFING- a WAILING baby was heard from our room the entirety of the stay - at 5pm, 12am, 6 am- never stopped and heard right through the walls (when I mentioned this to desk staff in the morning I was asked if I had reported them the night before so the hotel could enforce quiet hours. How do you enforce quiet hours for a wailing baby at 12am??). Every time the room upstairs flushed or showered or turned on water an extremely loud sound of rushing water filled the room both keeping us awake and waking us up. A terrible sewage smell in the elevator made us take the stairs during our stay. The beds were so soft I could hardly walk in the morning. Some pubic hairs were in the center of the bathroom floor when we arrived. Our mini fridge smelled like marijuana, and the same smell permeated our room when the air conditioner turned on. Breakfast and coffee were so mediocre we ate each morning in town. Those bikes we remembered so fondly nearly caused a good fall on the gravel trail to town when I discovered the brakes didn’t work (not to mention the handlebars were far from straight). Having paid luxury prices for a 2 night stay, we had a bad motel experience.
This is a lot of complaining, but I waited 2 weeks to review and still feel strongly about every word written. This hotel is a terrible value. On night 3 we opted for the Marriott Residence Inn in downtown Missoula. We paid less for a clean, modern, two room suite with wonderful mattresses and zero noise where we thankfully slept like rocks.

A good option for families

Published Date: Aug, 30, 2022 Travel Date: Aug, 1, 2022 Rating: 3 We stayed for 4 nights and found our beds comfortable and the vibe friendly and helpful. The first floor has a laundry room … a pool that extends to the outside - nice. They have bikes + .. kayaks for customers - though the bikes are a bit old style - it’s still a nice touch. The Morning complimentary breakfast consists of mostly packaged products - sweet rolls - egg McMuffin style products + bread products - toast … etc. our deck looks into the parking lot - grateful our rooms don’t look out onto the river (a bit stagnant) as you’d hear the kids playing in the pool. If I stay here again I’d request rooms on the north side with the “Mountain View “

Meh

Published Date: Aug, 16, 2022 Travel Date: Aug, 1, 2022 Rating: 3 I would rate this property as a low “C” considering that we paid $400/night for what is essentially an average business class hotel. We were completely underwhelmed by the pool, breakfast and “amenities” that we were charged $15/day for. The staff was very friendly and attentive, though.
