Excellent customer service all the way around and beautiful lodge. We were in the double queen suite - very roomy and comfortable.

We absolutely loved our short time here! Grouse Mountain Lodge is inviting and was quite an enjoyable experience. The room was quite large, the bed was really comfortable, the shutters really helped block out the early morning light. Large screen TV with many stations was a plus. A shout out to the incredible employees who were of great help to us. Jen and Casey at the front desk were so empathetic and kind when we arrived. Came in on overnight Amtrak from Seattle and got very little sleep. Arrived in Whitefish at 7:30 am and were exhausted. Jen and Casey were able to get us a room as soon as we arrived so we could catch up on sleep. Then they so kindly helped us as far as checkout was concerned, since our Amtrak didn't leave until 10:30 pm at night. They gave us late checkout with batting an eye. We were able to take our time packing and even catch a quick nap before departing after dinner. I can't say enough great things about this place. Deb in the gift shop was very helpful explaining how to get to Glacier National Park, even marking our route on a map. The Gift Shop was great too, so thankful they carried bathing suits because we forgot ours, and the hot tub and pool were awesome! On a separate review for Logan's Bar and Grille, which is the restaurant at the hotel, we gave high praise to Sarah and Jim, such great bartenders, and Dillon and Trey, who went above and beyond at our breakfast buffet. Love this place and we will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 4 nights in March 2024, over Easter. We had a good experience. The room - was spacious but did not have a microwave (there was one in the lobby), and it was very dark and dated - difficult to get the right temperature though at night, and we either ended up freezing or boiling hot The pool - much warmer than everyone was saying in the reviews, great pool for kids, and the hot tub outside was excellent! we did not eat at the restaurant, and the front desk had free tea/coffee and water available in the lobby, and the location was excellent for walking into town and exploring.

Better restaurant . Expensive, but not impressive. Could easily have basic breakfast, salads, and sandwiches . Appetizers were not good. Only the chips. More young families are coming , so make the menu somewhat inexpensive and have simple children’s menu. Mackenzie river is a good one.
