Incredibly disappointing - Looking for Glamping? This is NOT it!

What a mistake! My suggestion: Pay the extra and go to Under Canvas half a mile away, all of whose resorts that we have visited are fabulous.
We got there half an hour AFTER check in time, and our tent was not ready. When the cleaning lady finally did finish prepping, while we waited outside, we discovered that the tent had a carpet that was WET for one third of its length. Disgusting. The one chair in the tent was ripped. We were supposed to have two solar lamps in the tent. There was only one in the tent and it didn’t work! And the solar lamp that was supposed to be at the entrance of the tent was broken. Thank god we had a flashlight. Otherwise we wouldn't have been able to make our way to the outhouse or bathhouse.
Wander Camp markets themselves as glamping but it is anything but. What they provide is a tent with a (admittedly comfortable) bed and that's it. There were no additional services or unique experiences that would have justified calling it a glamping esperience. Nothing. It was just a tent raised by someone else. Nothing special.

Weekend getaway

The beds were comfortable, the tent was clean. The bathrooms clean. The blankets and pillows were perfect. This was in close proximity to the park. We had an amazing weekend. Friday night fire in the community fire pit. The owner brought over some wood. My only negative was that the tents and floors were uneven and felt all tents should be on a platform.
This is NOT glamping! Don’t believe the website!

Don’t be deceived by the romanticism of the misleading “glamping” photos on their website. Almost everything about our stay here was NOT what was advertised on their website. We were deceived!
When we arrived, the tent we were given had a broken zipper and wouldn’t close. We were then given a different tent, which also had a broken zipper, but we were able to jimmy it to close most of the way. The tents were set on uneven dirt patches, so nothing was level. (Most of the other glamping places we’ve seen before put the tents on wooden platforms to be level.) We had to rearrange the furniture inside to get it level enough so we didn’t slide out of bed. One night it rained and the tent flooded. There were big puddles all over the floor, and everything we had got soaked! We had our luggage on the floor since there were no luggage racks or benches, so a lot of our stuff got completely ruined. We had to throw away brand new books as they were unsalvageable from water damage. The solar lights they provided didn’t work at all. Thankfully we had headlamps and flashlights with us. The bathrooms were just small stalls on a trailer, with RV style toilets. The water on the property was non potable, so we could even get a drink, or brush our teeth safely! In the showers the water would go from ice cold to scalding hot, with no in between. To keep the water on you had to hold down a chain while showering. The “campfire area” was not close to the tents, and was so overgrown with grass and weeds. There were no picnics tables anywhere on the grounds, and nowhere to cook on our camp stove or wash dishes. Parking was inadequate; there were not enough spaces for guests to park in front t of their tents. This place was not just a bad experience for us, but for some of the other people we chatted with who were also staying there. They too had felt very deceived by the website.
The only nice thing about our stay was that the bed was comfortable. But you can’t just put a bed with pretty pillows in a big tent and call it “glamping” without things being in good repair and having other nice amenities.
Find somewhere else to stay! You’ll be very glad you did!
This was at the Glacier, Montana location. We can’t speak to other Wander Camp locations, but please do some serious research before booking at any of them, as they all share the same website.
Buyer Beware

At first, I was skeptical, but upon arrival, I was pretty disappointed. I arrived early and was able to watch the staff clean my tent. They did not remove or bring any linens to the tent. I pulled back the layers to find hairs from the guests before. Long hair, short hair, and short curly hair. I called and requested a refund. They asked me to send photos. I did, and they responded that the staff had claimed to wash the linens and would not get a refund because it was considered a last-minute cancelation. The floor was dirty, and mold was growing on the tent's walls. The screen door was not functional, and the bathrooms and shower is in a semi-trailer with a bunch of RV toilets. You must pull down a chain with one hand while using the showers. Very cramped and wet. Much of this is relayed to you after booking.
