It was a really fun experience, we wanted to camp but not knowing the area or terrain made us hesitant (and we are new campers in general) and Wander Camp was an awesome compromise. The available fire pit was a lot of fun. Having dinner and breakfast available was so great!

The tent was so cozy and the beds were very comfortable. There were nice little chairs for us to sit in with ample blankets to keep us warm. The tent was double zipped to keep out mosquitos and there were plenty of bathrooms. The hosts were very kind when we arrived and accommodated any concerns we had once we brought them up to them! The location was also in a very safe area. Certain campsites didn't have the best parking spaces. Ours was not fully into our campsite as others were, but close enough. Our solar powered lamps were not working, so at night we had to use our phones as flashlights. In the morning many of the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper. The 1 mile road to get there had a lot of pot holes, but we were at least warned about it prior to checking in.

We had a pleasant stay in a comfortable and charming tent! The location of the camp was very close to Glacier National Park. The tent was adorable and the beds quite comfortable. Each tent was tucked into the woods, which afforded a bit of privacy. The picnic area was very cute as well, with lights that come on after dark. Hanging out in the picnic area is fun for chatting with other travelers, and the remote and dark location is excellent for star gazing. The staff sent good directions to reach the site, as I wasn’t sure if cell signal would hold up for navigation. Mine did, but it was nice to have the directions just in case. They respond to text and messages very quickly. The road to the camp was quite bumpy, but at least it was short. It’s a wooded area, but there’s nothing to do in the immediate vicinity unless you’re okay with wandering into the woods with no trails. You can hear train whistles, every half hour it seemed. Sound really travels out there, especially late into the night, and people get up VERY early to head into Glacier.

Amazing place to stay to visit Glacier NP

Thanks God I stayed here for my first national park & road trip The staff there are so friendly and kind. They are very helpful. I slept there in a king tent for four days and it’s quite spacious, comfy and clean. What’s even better is the bed, it’s so comfortable that I almost fell asleep as soon as I hit the bed every time, which is particularly important for a hiker like me who need to get up early to beat vehicle reservations in the glacier national park and go for long-hour hikes in a day to make most of it. Highly recommended. Well, If the road condition can be maintained better, it would be easier to drive through. But it doesn’t really matter compared to the quality of the stay there.

LOVE!

We LOVED wander camp glacier!! Don’t let the bad reviews freak you out, most of those are people who don’t like to camp and expected something LUXURIOUS…. if you want something the complete opposite of camping go book the $600/night tents. Yes there will be bugs, mud, you will hear animals in the woods at night, and messy bathrooms from time to time. But in my opinion, the bathrooms were SO clean!!! The tents are tucked away in the woods, pretty spacious from others, and very large in the inside. The bed was so comfy, we had the best sleep there. We camped for 4 nights and it was great. Tent was in the shade most of the day which was a plus, and surrounded by trees so we were able to hang a hammock! The camp hosts were also super sweet and helpful. The fire ring and picnic table area is awesome as well. We love camping, but this was a plus because we didn’t have to set anything up. For the price, this is so worth it and 5 mins from the West Glacier Entrance!!! Like I said, if you don’t enjoy camping, don’t book. We are camping people and this was so relaxing and such a nice place. 10/10 recommend! We loved everything!
