Great staff. Great views. Much relaxation and the surrounding scenery cannot be matched. Very unique domes that allow all of nature to come inside. Only the full moon didn’t participate and let us all see the Milky Way. But a fun trip overall. Thanks Clear Sky! And can’t wait until the Bryce Canyon resort opens in late 2024.

Glamping underneath the stars ⭐️

We enjoyed our experience at Clear Sky Resorts— we stayed in the “Space Galaxy” dome, which was really cool, but dated. We also really liked the activities at night. The weather was beautiful. There wasn’t much room for luggage, and it would have been nice to be able to unload our stuff at the dome—but it wasn’t too bad. The food truck had good food but was a little pricey (we expected that). Overall, it was a great time!

This was a super cool and fantastic adventure. The dome was surprisingly spacious, magnificently decorated and surprisingly very cool. The panoramic window and sky view allows for excellent star gazing, and we took beautiful night pics which are out of this world. The staff are super attentive to detail, very friendly, and catered to us royally. I will definitely come back and I'm recommending Clear Sky Resorts.

Disappointing family stay

First, the positive: -The domes themselves are pretty cool looking and the area is set up in a way that has a lot of potential. The distance to the Grand Canyon was great. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, our experience was almost wholly negative for the following reasons: -After taxes we paid nearly $1200 for a two night stay for a family of four. That was a HUGE chunk of our trip budget. Had we not been charged such an exorbitant amount we may have had lower expectations. But, since we were charged these prices we expected- if not luxury accomodations- certainly excellent service, amenities, and functional AC. -We were there during a heat wave. That said, it's summer in Arizona. We came back to our room to rest after a busy morning only to find our room at 85 degrees. We tried turning down our AC, which apparently shuts it off. We asked for service, which we received after waiting for almost 1 1/2 hours and being told "well, it's Arizona." He "fixed" it telling us it was our fault for turning it down (there is no warning of this anywhere). After three more hours it still was unbearable. We finally had a kind manager come check and realized that the "extractor fan" that removes heat from the dome had been turned off by a previous tenant. Once she turned that on and brought in some fans it finally started to improve. She offered us complimentary breakfast for the next day and a credit to our account. We are still waiting on that credit a month later. -This place is new, but not in great shape. Our bathroom tile was falling apart and some had been badly DIY repaired. Wallpaper was a big image but the seams didn't match. Would I have cared if I paid ⅓ of the price? Probably not. The dome plastic was taped at seams that had clearly split. The complimentary games offered were old and worn like they'd picked them up at yard sales. It was difficult to get a volleyball or discs for disc golf (of course you could purchase some). -Food- the food truck space is nice. The food is very expensive though and when I asked for the gluten free option that was advertised they didn't have it. When we went to redeem our "complimentary breakfast" we waited 35 minutes for four yogurt parfaits. There was only one other family eating at the time. When we inquired as to what the problem was, the server apologized saying that the cook was new and “didn't know how to make it.” -Finally, the cleaning of our room was questionable. When we checked in, the in-room coffee area was missing cups but had a few coffee pods like it had just been left by the last person. We also found a previous tenant's airplane boarding pass on the floor next to the bed. The extractor fan hadn't been checked since the last person. We had clean towels, but it certainly didn't seem like a thorough clean. -Honestly, there were other problems but there's no need to go into them. I think my point is made. Let's just say that the next stay during our road trip was a $200 a night basic Best Western and we felt like we were living in luxury since we had functional air conditioning, free waffles and a clean room. If you can get a phenomenal deal it's worth trying a night here for the unique experience. If not, then in our opinion, it isn't worth it.

An Experience Worth The Price

Wow! What an experience! The grounds and the facility were well kept. The domes were clean and organized and there is plenty to do on property. The staff was amazing, attentive, and resolve a minor issue way beyond what was expected! 5 stars!
