Hotel was convient, carpets need cleaning. Stay away from the in house dinner restaurant, expensive slop and bad service huh Marco?. Go to Plaza Bonita for really good Mexican food The BW breakfast resturant was good.

Horrible place do not stay here

Booked a jacuzzi suite in June 2021, prepaid/reserved. When we arrived we were given no information about breakfast/food/restaurant/shop hours. Had no idea there was an on-site bowling and game room-found that out while walking around. the room was gross, chairs and many ottoman with multiple questionable crusty stains. The rug was badly in need of a shampoo/cleaning. Very dingy. The air conditioner despite saying 65 degrees only blew hot air-room temp was actually 82. The jacuzzi jets would not work. Day one We called and were told it would be fixed. Not fixed, went to the desk day two and were told maintenance would check it out but we needed to be out of the room. Left for the day, returned and still broken (don’t know if they ever even looked at it). We requested what we paid for and we’re charged for, a jacuzzi room, but we’re told they were all booked and occupied. I asked for a refund for each day down to a regular room/non jacuzzi room snd was told this was not possible! We were still being charged for a jacuzzi suite-despite not having an operable jacuzzi. We were offered a choice of free breakfast for two or $30 compensation. Both were an absolute insult! I’m an icu nurse and this is the first time I’ve been away from full time icu (covid ) work in 2 years. I desperately needed a peaceful, restful, jacuzzi full vacation!!! This nasty experience with best western squire has ruined our vacation. The hotel does have a public jacuzzi (we need to walk outside to get to). However, we paid extra money (a lot of money!) for a private jacuzzi in our room that we could bathe in our birthday suits while sipping wine and relaxing after a long day at the canyon. This did not occur!! This is NOT the place to stay at! One wonders if they booked us knowingly into a room with a broken jacuzzi and how many more people have also been booked into this room and will be booked here. Thieves! Look into an Airbnb or a much better hotel!! DO NOT STAY HERE!

I think this property would be hit or miss depending on what part of the hotel your room is located. We were in the older part of the hotel and it was clean but really dated. Inexcusably the toilet seat was chipped and paint worn down to the wood. Carpeting looked questionable as well. Old and dark like a 70s motel. I understand the newer part of the hotel is quite nice but they charge the same rate regardless of where of the hotel you stay. Very close to the Grand Canyon national Park gate like most of them hotels in this town. Indoor and outdoor pool were wonderful. Gym is large and well-equipped.

My BFF and I stayed here for two nights. We had a bit of a mixup in our plans and booked this at the last minute. Rachel could not have been more accommodating and got us a lovely, spacious, and clean room two days before our arrival. The location could not be more convenient to the Canyon. We arrived to a roaring fire. There is a lovely pool and hot tub (we did not use). The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious with everything you needed at your fingertips. Nearby restaurant options are average at best and we happily ate at the hotel both nights. David made outstanding Old Fashioneds for us. The Caesar salad was crisp and fresh. The chicken soup with tomato broth was excellent, and the ribeye and shrimp pasta were also very good. I would highly recommend and will stay here again when I return.

Arrived at hotel around 4PM to check in to find a long line of other guests waiting and one hotel member at desk. After patiently waiting 20 minutes for our keys we entered our room to find others guests in our room. This was a very uncomfortable situation. We went back to front desk and was given a different room. Instead of getting the room we paid for, they downgraded us to a room in lower level in a old building. We were not compensated for the huge inconvenience or the downgrade. Very disappointed with our stay.
