Mrs. Andrea was a great welcome and possibly the best check-in experience we had. She was smiling through the whole time and was super kind. Definitely recommend a promotion. The room was nice as well but I highly doubt that anything will beat the welcome.

A nice hotel, but falling short in some areas.

The rooms themselves are basically OK, but there is a dinginess to the place. Our bathroom had empty shampoo, soap, and conditioner bottles. Housekeeping doesn’t answer their phone so we had to call the front desk, so sent shampoo and conditioner, but no soap. The air conditioner was making lots of noise because it was starved for air - a quick clean of the filter in the bathtub did the trick, but it hadn’t been cleaned for months. The hallways have carpet so worn down that it drags the whole experience down. The pool was a few degrees too cold, but there was a layer of guck at the water line on the sides of the pool and hot tub that indicated that it had not been cleaned for many weeks/months. Breakfast, if not included in the room rate, was a bit pricy. But free Starbucks coffee in the reception area. We stayed on a points night, so I can’t complain much about the cost, but I would not spend money to stay there.

I recently stayed at Squire Resort and, unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations for a four-star property. Below are the key areas where I feel improvements are needed: 1. Check-In & Front Desk • The team appeared unorganized and undertrained; splitting bills took an unnecessarily long time. • While staff were technically polite, there was a noticeable lack of warmth or proactive assistance—they did not smile or offer to go above and beyond basic duties. 2. Room Amenities • The in-room offerings were the bare minimum: standard toiletries, low-tier coffee, and generic stationery. For a four-star rate, I expected higher-quality brands and a few thoughtful extras (e.g., a better coffee selection or welcome water). 3. Housekeeping & Cleanliness • Cleaning was superficial. I observed dust on surfaces and a few areas that had clearly been missed during the turn-down service. 4. Noise Control • Doors to guest rooms and closets slam shut very loudly from the hallway, which was disruptive—especially during early mornings and late evenings. 5. Overall Rating Based on service, amenities, and comfort, I would currently rate this property as a three-star at best. With targeted staff training, upgraded room supplies, and more rigorous housekeeping standards, this hotel has the potential to truly earn its four-star designation. I hope management will take these points on board—addressing them will significantly enhance guest satisfaction and uphold the standards expected at this level.

Lovely modern reception and rooms, with staff being very informative and friendly. We got provided with a token which had about 18 credits on it, for free, to use in the arcade- small and not a big room but very nice touch nevertheless. Good location to access the grand canyon and decent food options on either side of the road leading upto the hotel. Indoor and outdoor pool with a hot tub either side of each makes for a nice relax after visiting the park. Would recommend if in the area :)

Perfectly situated!

Great hotel from this classic hotel chain. Perfectly situated for exploring the canyon - good amenities, including a really nice pool area. Good cocktails and free marshmallows to roast on the fires outside. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Slightly noisy in the evening, but that might just be the block we stayed in.
