Perfectly situated for exploring the canyon - good amenities, including a really nice pool area. Good cocktails and free marshmallows to roast on the fires outside. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Slightly noisy in the evening, but that might just be the block we stayed in.

Awful Customer Service Ruined Our Stay

Published Date: Jun, 10, 2025 Travel Date: Apr, 1, 2025 Rating: 1 I usually don’t write negative reviews, but our experience here was so frustrating that I feel compelled to warn fellow travelers. My partner and I booked a two-night stay hoping to unwind, but from the moment we checked in, nothing went right.
First, the Wi-Fi in our room was completely unusable. We tried repeatedly to connect over both days, only to be met with “no internet” messages. As remote workers, reliable Wi-Fi was non-negotiable. After numerous failed attempts, I even took the time to capture screenshots documenting the issue, which I politely shared with the front-desk team.
Rather than offering assistance or moving us to another room, the staff flat-out refused to help. One employee went so far as to accuse me of fabricating the screenshots, and I was left feeling both insulted and powerless. At no point did anyone offer a workaround, no temporary hotspot, no apology, nothing.
All in all, this stay was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. If reliable service, basic courtesy, and functional amenities matter to you, look elsewhere, there are far better options in this price range. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

A Wonderful Time at the Squire

The restaurant was very good. There is a game room/arcade for entertainment, the outdoor pool and outdoor games for kids, and it is very close to the Grand Canyon entrance. The morning buffet is an A+++++. The hotel staff is exceptional. I would rate this hotel a 5-star

Terrible experience

We booked and paid for a hotel room, including payment information. The manager stated that we have to resolve it ourselves and was unwilling to help. I would not recommend this hotel.
On top of that, the toilet in the lobby was dirty and poorly maintained. This level of service and hygiene is unacceptable.

Not meeting or exceeding expectations!

Got a text in the morning asking what time was our arrival, no response after answering? Not a first class experience! Don't know why there would be a good reason to have a minimum character complaint!
