$300 Suite with unbearable noise due to building heating system location

Room #7318 was a great Suite - but not in the winter months. The adjacent heating system was extremely loud when engaged and caused the headboard of the bed to vibrate. We had to move out of the room at 8:00 pm - to another room or we would not have been able to sleep. Obviously Hotel personnel was aware of this problem from previous guests because whenever the heat in the 7000 building is engaged the noise generated in Room #7318 is unbearable. Great Suite - but not if you cannot sleep in it! Hotel provided some room credit due to the fact that we had to change rooms - but not nearly sufficient for a $300 room that they should not even be able to sell without informing customers that sleeping in that particular room is not an option. Hotel staff was supposed to communicate with us regarding our concerns after we departed - but never did. When we initially called the front desk to express our concerns about the noise from the heating system (I initially thought it was just a plane flying overhead) they said they would look into it and get back to us - but did not respond. At this time we still have pending charges on our credit card that we were told would be removed but have not been - 5 days after checking out??

Do not stay at this property. The room was disgusting, the heat did not work in one room, the other room the heat over worked, and wouldn't turn off. Called down and was told to turn off heat and open window. Slept with window open when it was 10 degrees.

Good overall but room for improvement

We booked this for a family stay. The location is awesome and hotel is nicely decorated and welcoming. They have a lot of common areas like pools, outdoor fire pit and restaurants on site. Unfortunately, they did not have bowling alley or arcade open during our stay (which was part of the reason we booked here). Even though this is a Premier location, there was no complimentary breakfast. The cheaper Best Western hotels offer this but not this hotel does not. The restaurant service for breakfast was slow (multiple people waiting to get seated left) and food is average diner quality. The rooms are large for a typical hotel. Nice big bathroom too. We had a two queen room. Sheets were clean and beds are average hotel beds for comfort. It could have been a little cleaner. There was pet and human hair on carpet and we found a possible diamond earring on the floor. All the staff is helpful and professional. Check-in and check-out was fast. I think if Covid were not a factor, this would be a good option to come back to.

I guess I should not be surprised at this property. It is typical of so many hotels where there are a llimited number of rooms in the area. The rooms are old, dated and dark. Overpriced for the conditions. Toilet hada pink ring which tells me it has not been cleaned. There was a tooth pick on the floor near the bed. Noisy location. The next morning we discovered the window was not closed/locked after the previous guest. That explains the dirty room. The lobby is beautiful and updated. Our bill was messed up and we had a difficult time getting it squared away. As compensation, we got a free breakfast which was not so great either. The wait staff completely ignored us. During the entire breakfast, we were given one cup of coffee, even after requesting refils. AND, it was not busy in there! I do not recommend this hotel. We were on a month long road trip and this was the worst experience the entire time.

We really enjoyed our stay! If you want to avoid the throngs of people and have the hotel almost all to yourselves then.... (well, I am not saying because then you'll go and ruin our timeframe. LOL) Breakfast hostess was the BEST and friendliest of the staff. Check-in was a bit challenged, must have been a new guy because I had to prompt him for the Welcome bag and our breakfast tickets. Other than that, BEAUTIFUL hotel, and we will be back!!
