After a fast and friendly check-in, we went to our room in the "adults only" building. The bedroom was separate from the living area, but we were still somewhat cramped for space. We couldn't find a good place for the suitcase. The room had a mini-fridge (no freezer) and a microwave. The walls were thin--we heard lots of noise from the hallway and from other rooms. The bed and sofa were comfortable. The bathroom was tiny but had adequate counter space. The bathroom fan was noisy and useless. The shower head was good. We had problems with the internet in the morning. We had a good pizza dinner at We Cook Pizza & Pasta. The hotel served an excellent breakfast with hot and cold items.

The full breakfast is really bad.
The drink machine did not work. The pool was very noisy with children. A time for adults would be nice. The room was nice and clean. There really were no other amenities such as tea, coffee or a snack in the lobby. The staff was very nice. The internet was turned off during the night which was very irritating.

As a general rule of thumb HIE's are an excellent choice in the mid range hospitality category. This was probably the oldest HIE I have stayed in and could use some TLC. The mini fridge made an absurd amount of noise. The breakfast offered during the Covid scare is a basic sack breakfast. It was probably the most basic breakfast we had out of the 3 hotels that we stayed at during our trip. The location is where the hotel really excels as it is a couple of minutes down the road from the Grand Canyon gate. It was also pricey due to the proximity. I would probably not book this hotel again.

I found the beds to be very comfortable. The rooms were decent size and had microwave and a small fridge. There is an indoor pool and hot tub with towels provided. Most restaurants are less than 5 minutes drive including McDonald’s. The drive to the park is about 15 minutes from the hotel. The staff was helpful. I would stay here again if coming to the Grand Canyon.

Just outside the park
Very close to Grand Canyon but kind of pricey. We had 2 queen beds w 3 people & charged $10 more even this hotel is already expensive. Everyone very friendly & helpful. Small frig, coffeemaker, microwave in room. Clean indoor pool & hot tub with towels provided. Shuttle not in use due to corona virus. Due also to corona virus, Breakfast order placed the night before & delivered prepackaged items in individual bags for each person’s order. It was decent & prompt. Free internet which was decent. Plenty of parking. Most stuff in the tiny town was closed but there was drive through at McDonald’s & Wendy’s. Even though I was very satisfied with hotel, it is expensive & it is a LOT less to stay in Williams & drive a half hour more to get into Grand Canyon Park. To me, it was too overpriced. Williams offers a more to do/ see/ eat for a lot less. Williams lodging is WAY LESS.
