This is a nice hotel with great location - just a few minutes south of the Grand Canyon National Park. Nothing really flashy here, just a simple, clean hotel. Very friendly and kind staff, and the hot/cold breakfast is prepared by the staff for take-out each morning - they work very hard for you! Overall, a nice experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

Use the bathmat! :)

Two star hotel for a four star price but that's the Grand Canyon. The room was fairly clean and the staff were all great and willing to help. I never feel the need to use a bath mat in a shower and when I see it in a hotel shower I consider it placed there as an extra courtesy. My wife used the shower first and her feet immediately came out from under her. She grabbed the shower curtain which thankfully broke her fall. Her back landed on the edge of the tub and her head hit the toilet. The shower curtain didn't survive unscathed and was torn a bit in the fall. I showered next and at first didn't heed my wife's advice until my foot came out from under me and almost landed on the floor as well but was able to regain my balance. I notified the hotel about the issue. The dining area was closed for Covid reasons so the hotel offered a grab and go that was bare minimum. A microwaved Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich turned to rubber, an orange, apple juice, granola bar and coffee. It'll do the job but it's time to drop the masks and reopen the dining area. There will always be viruses and we cannot live our lives in fear.

Met Our Expectations

We accomplished what we wanted to: a hotel room that was clean, close to GCNP, and (relatively) inexpensive (30,000 IHG points/night). Both the room and public areas were clean and in good repair. The temperature controls worked well. We were on the 3rd floor — no road noise or noise from other rooms. The staff was generally professional and friendly. The breakfast was of no value to us — a mediocre Jimmy Dean sausage breakfast sandwich, an off-brand of yogurt, a granola bar, and a 4 oz cup of apple juice. The room was on the small side, esp. the bathroom

We stayed here due to it's location. It was perfect for our trips into the Grand Canyon. Yes, it was very expensive. Yes, it wasn't super clean at the time and we had to have quite a few amenities brought to our room. The pool was adequate, but again, we stayed here for its location and that was perfect. Lots of traffic in and out of here so we didn't expect it to be perfect. It worked for our 4 nights here.

This hotel gets lots of traffic but it's a fine place to stay. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beds are comfortable. The parking lot is very well lit. The floor of the pool is very rough so you might want to pack some aqua water shoes for swimming. The location is excellent. Very close to the canyon and you can walk to any of the restaurants in the little town.
