Staying in Clear Sky Resort was like nothing I've ever experienced. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and what a treat it was. The 'domes' are such a unique getaway, but offer all you need to be comfortable during the stay. Equipped with fireplace, swinging chair, bathrooms, and such a comfy bed we were so relaxed. We loved taking a hike in the morning on the nearby trial, and spending the evening looking at the stars. It was such a convenient distance to Glacier National, and surrounding communities. The live music was great, and the staff was so friendly. If you're looking for a beautiful getaway that will give you memories for years to come, look no further than clear sky resorts! Can't wait for our next trip.

When i came to montana i had just gone through a not so great breakup. I was greeted with open arms and made me the best drinks in the meantime *thanks Katie* the whole experience was definitely one to be remembered. The manager is the nicest lady around amd everyone else made sure i was comfortable. We laughed all night and day. Definitely a place to remember.

Very unique experience. The resort is themed in unique shelters, “Geo domes“. I have never seen anything like this, several are suspended in the air. There are several cabins, rv and tent spots available, but if you have the means get a doom! Generally there’s a rustic feel to the entire experience. While there are five star amenities, you’re still exposed to the great outdoors. The domes topically have indoor fire “pits”, fabulous modern restrooms and each comes with a telescope to view the night sky. If you hit it right you’ll be able to see the northern lights. Close to the resort or several fabulous trail heads, well worth experiencing. Both the East/west gates to glacier are about 30 minutes away. The main lodge offers a limited menu, but very good food. When I was there breakfast was not available, and I think they should change that. The closest breakfast is about 40 minutes away. I think one of the most unique things about this resort is the staff is kind of in your face all the times. I mean that in a good way. They are a bunch of characters with amazing stories. They are actively involved in volleyball, Horseshoes, ax throwing and the motion arts. If you’re not sure what that means look up “poi”. There is a community fire pit and the evenings are amazing with the other guest and staff. I would highly recommend a long week as there is much to see and do!

Sometimes spontaneous travel can be challenging. My latest experience involved hitting the road on my BMW adventure motorcycle and exploring the National Parks of the Northern West. I needed a place to stay near Glacier. Searching here this place popped up. Not to far from the West Entrance to Glacier National Park but not to close. I was intrigued by pictures of domes. When I called I spoke with the manager Sandra. They had no cabins available only tent sites. I was going light without my camping gear unlike my trip to Alaska 6 years previous. I explained I didn't have a problem camping but I had no tent. This is where the difference between an OK place to stay or an experience begin. Sandra said she was going to town and would buy a tent, sleeping bag and pad to rent to me! She stated others had similar requests and decided to invest in some gear. I called to double-check the day before I arrived and spoke with Kasarah who ended up being one of the most charming Assistant Managers I have ever dealt with. She said the gear was there. She wears a lot of hats gracefully bartending, checking in guests, serving tables and providing entertainment around the campfire with her LED hula hoop. A Burning Man alumni she goes well with the flow having been a whitewater rafting river guide among other things. Her brother Dylan is quite the character and I referred to him as Bigfoot. He took care of maintenance and other duties. So I got my tent set-up going and was given a quick tour of the domes under construction. This is going to be a really special place to stay when they are completed. Glamping deluxe! They have the suspended pod bedroom cabins for rent which are really cool rigs. But if you get seasick easily you might want to reconsider since every step you take in one shifts the load. Chuck was one of the construction guys and we hit it off pretty well. We ended up riding MCs together on my last day up into the park for one of the most amazing roads in the world...the road to the rising sun. What it all boiled down to was the people here are genuine. They are redefining the wilderness cabin experience and doing so with funk and style. This is what makes America Great. The people. I cannot speak highly enough of the service and experience I had at Clear Sky and look forward to many more encounters at the various locations they are building.

We brought 4 teenagers with us on a last vacation before school started. We wanted them outdoors and off their phones for a minute. We had the best vacation ever! The staff guided us on where to go to eat and for activities, which were all the perfect recommendations. The resort is divided into two sections, there's log cabins on one side and modern domes on the other. We split up and stayed in both. Each night, the staff made smores for us around a big campfire, had a oversized outdoor screen with a movie playing and games, like horseshoe and crochet and the kids would check in with friends back home right before they went to bed, but used their phones for pictures the rest of the time. It was awesome! Oh and did I mention the thick warm comforters that kept me in bed each morning...nothing better than waking up to cool fresh mountain air while enveloped in a comfy bed. This place was great!
