Third time not a charm

When you are with grandkids this is going to be news you should know in advance. We were still charged a $15 a day resort fee. Since our stay was 5 days we were charged a $100 cleaning fee. This is stated when booking so no surprise, but when we arrived we had a full can of someone else’s garbage in the kitchen. Finally, the condos are poorly constructed. When the young men upstairs walked it felt like they were coming through the ceiling. They in turn were not pleased with how loud the grandkids were being. It made for an extremely uncomfortable stay. The one positive was the location. Easy drive to Glacier, and in to Whitefish.

Just a Beautiful property, we will definitely be back as we want to return to Glacier when the road to the sun is open.

Why did I wait so long to get here?

This resort was in a great, quiet location, near several quaint little towns, lots of nature and plenty of things to do. Grocery store was just a 5 minute drive, even though it seemed you were in the country. Staff was friendly. Sadly the restaurant and pool were closed, but we used the hot tub and work out facility several time. We did golf one day - really pretty course, and again, the staff was really friendly. Tasty food at the Eagles' Nest Bar/Bistro after the 9th hole! We found the cutest "Farm to Table" ice cream shop in Columbia Falls (corner of Nucleus and 7th St), along with a great little diner, etc. The staff gave us lots of recommendations for near by places to eat, etc. The drive to Glacier National Park was easy and the park was SO beautiful. We did rafting through Glacier Rafting Company. Highly recommend. Overall fantastic trip. Wish we hadn't waited so long to go! I'll definitely come back (and maybe tryout some different seasons too). We were there in late April, so it was not crowded at all - a bit cool for us Texans, but really pleasant!!
