Grand Canyon visit
Loved Loved this little gem. Nothing fancy and certainly not state of the art, however, the friendly and attentive staff, quality food and beverages at the bar and restaurant, and the mid century vibe of this place made for a wonderful experience. Stayed at the Paris Hotel in Vegas the night before & this was absolutely an Upgrade!Would definitely recommend!

Would not recommend. Motel rooms - FYI
I felt really duped because this is actually a motel. My room had outdoor access. Calling it a hotel is really misleading. The motel room felt old and dirty with stained carpet. The property itself is OK. I was super disappointed because I thought that since we had extra time we'd have some drinks at the bar in the atrium that was so beautifully photographed and marketed, and it was closed/empty. The outdoor pool was closed so we enjoyed the hot tub in the atrium - it was nice. Poor food options - only the saloon which we definitely weren't paying the prices for a steak there as we didn't trust the quality would match the prices. We opted for a bunch of bar food and beers which was fine. Overall, I couldn't wait to get out of there and wouldn't recommend :(

We stayed here to explore the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and the location was perfect.
The staff was so friendly and helpful as we made multiple changes to our reservations as we figured out the best way to incorporate so many places and events.
We only had dinner one Night and it was fair

We booked 2 rooms and 2 nights here while visiting the Grand Canyon and it did not disappoint! We were welcomed with warm greetings from check-in. It is well staffed. We were surprised to receive amazing customer service from every single staff member. We dined at the saloon for supper, had drinks at the bar and breakfast each morning. The food is so good that you don't have to leave the hotel for a great meal. The atrium is beautiful and well-kept. They have a hot tub and impressive gift shop with plenty of handmade Native American merchandise. Beds were comfortable & clean facilities. The hotel is located right beside the Welcome Center/IMAX theatre and less than a mile from the park entrance. We will definitely choose this hotel next time we're in the area.

Roach Motel Quality with Over priced Premium rates.
On a recent trip to the Grand Canyon from california, we were stuck in grid lock traffic on the I-40 east for 12 hours due to a 20 car pile up due to snowy conditions, we finally made it to the front desk to check in at 5am. We were exhausted and looking for any shelter from the snow and out of the car. Walking into the main building we immediately noticed an old unwelcoming smell. We didn't mind it since we were looking for a warm place away from the car. The room smelled even worse. they put us on the second floor. the room had a small balcony and was reasonably sized. The decor was extremely old and outdated. The tech was non existent. so connecting to the tv with my laptop to review my footage was not happening. there was only a handful of outlets, we could only charge two devices at a time. The mini fridge did not work in the room. The toilet wouldn't flush either, but I lifted the cover and it was disconnected from the flush handle. So I repaired the toilet free of charge. the Ice machine didn't work on our floor. we used our own sheets and blankets since the ones in the rooms were dusty and had an odd smell to them, not to mention the place smelled like a raid bomb had just been set off before we stayed there. I didn't feel comfortable and rested while staying there. The worst was the stair corridor. that had the strongest smell to it by far. we stayed away from using the stairs. Save your money!!
