Not taking Covid Seriously
On our trip back home from visiting family we decided to stop in Moab. This hotel is one of the first you'll see as you enter Moab and get sucked into their road construction so we chose to stay here. The lobby is beautiful and the front desk guy ben (?) said they just updated it. The rooms are lackluster and look like a motel 6 from the 90s.
None of this is as important as their blatant disregard for keeping their employees and guests safe. None of them wear masks which when I looked up the local directive it states that all employees are supposed to. How has the health department not shut them down yet?
I heard one of the employees talking about how they think masks are stupid and everything needs to open up. When I asked another employee who she was they said shes the assistant manager. Great look to let your guests knows that you don't care by being so careless to voice your personal opinion in a professional setting.
All the employees smoke center is across from the entrance too, classy joint.

Great Location Near Arches Entrance
The Aarchway Inn is ideally located 2 miles from the entrance to Arches National Park. This also puts it on the north end of Moab, and a few miles away from the best restaurants and shops in the central part of town. The inn has comfortable rooms, a coffee stand, small retail set-up, nice pool and other amenities. They also offer free breakfast.
The rooms are spacious, with good bathrooms, refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker. The table for two is a nice touch. The swimming pool and surrounding pool deck are also nice. A spa tub is located next to the pool deck in a partially enclosed area. Most of the afternoon, there is very little shade available, which can be rough on a hot day.
The breakfast room features a buffet area that has been modified due to COVID-19. Instead of serving the food yourself, a host serves the food to you, counter-style. The food is typical of most Inns with eggs, Meat, potatoes, bisquits & gravy. Beverages are self-serve. The staff has done a good job of adjusting the food service for the pandemic. The only downfall to this was often luke-warm during the three mornings we had breakfast.
The layout of this Inn takes some getting used to. Some areas have 2 floors, while others have 4. It can be a little confusing getting around if you are on the side wings. Housekeeping was working, but never came into our room until our third day. This was only after I had to request it from the front desk. At that point I was informed that the houskeeping staff in only entering (and cleaning) rooms after guests check out. They should have adised me of this when I checked in, so we could avoid having our trash build up, etc.
Note: There is a great deal of road work being done along Hwy 191, which runs in front of the Inn, and into downtown Moab. Be mindful of this and possible delays or alternate entrances to the property if you are planning to stay here.
I'd probably stay at Aarchway Inn again. It is convenient and comfortable, and the price was about right as well.

Perfect for Our Family Moab Trip! Great Free Breakfast and Pool!
I’m so glad we found this hotel! It had great reviews and they were correct! This hotel was perfect for our family. The pool and outdoor areas, including the pirate ship playground, were awesome. And the free breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had—my kids loved the pancake machine, my husband and I also enjoyed the coffee bar. The room was a good size and the beds were super comfortable (I didn’t wake up a thousand times each night like I usually do in hotels). They also have fantastic blackout curtains, and a great view of the mesas, I think no matter which direction your room is facing. The location is also great for going to Arches and Canyonlands, and eating dinner and shopping in Moab. Love love love this place! My kids did not want to leave—we will most likely be back one day!

Nice hotel, great location
Located about 5 minutes from the entrance to Arches national park, and an equally short drive into where most of the restaurants in Moab are. Our room with 2 queen beds was spacious, with room for a small table, refrigerator and microwave. The grounds were well kept, and there is plenty to do on the grounds.
Note rooms not being cleaned during your stay due to coronavirus, but ask at front desk for anything you need. Pool was open, and breakfast was good. Thanks!

Excellent Location, Staff and Facilities
We just spent two nights there last week. With the current CoronaVirus, hotel is closing for 30 days. Staff, facilities and location is amazing. They have a beautiful pool, gym and full breakfast as well as great playground. We would definitely stay there again. Staff went above and beyond ensuring no buffet yet full hot breakfast. Pool and gym had to close our 2nd day there. Arches is just minutes away with lots of hiking trails. We will be back! Thank you Brittni and Zev!
