My friends and I loved our room here ! We each had our own bed which was a nice surprise and the staff and amenities were great! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Moab! Super close to canyonlands and arches national parks !

An enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There was a plentiful selection at breakfast time. The pool was lovely, we managed a swim before breakfast, when it was still quiet. Later on in the day it became very noisy, not the hotels fault, some people are oblivious to the fact that not everyone wants to listen to them screaming. I'm talking adults here, not children. We enjoyed the cookies that were on reception in the afternoon. There was only one restaurant that was near enough to walk, but the hotel was very convenient for the National Parks.

Typical chain establishment, cordial greeting at quick check in. Large room, two queen beds, strange arrangement of bathroom sink in the actual room. Clean and functional. The swimming pool was busy but a welcome cooling and restful few hours. Two miles into the town centre which means driving for dinner.

So our room was perfectly fine. Standard hotel room. On day two our battery in our smoke detector went out so it started beeping. Staff was super fast in responding. They serviced the room during the day even though we were only there two nights which is almost unheard of now days. Staff was always friendly even when we were a bit early for breakfast (which started extra early which is GREAT when you are trying to visit busy national parks). There were afternoon cookies in the lobby as well. The pool was nice when several free cabanas around. The hot tub was enclosed but had a retractable door which meant you could enjoy the nice weather but it's still usable if the weather is bad. The hotel had a small play area for kids. Breakfast was probably some of the best of our trip. And it had a varying menu. Day 1 was sausage, hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. Day 2 was bacon, potatoes and folded eggs for make your own omelets with a few omelet toppings like fresh spinach, salsa, cheese. Nothing super fancy but any change of pace on hotel breakfasts is always welcome. Very conveniently located about 15 minutes into Arches and about 5 minutes from the main part of Moab. The only negative is the hotel is laid out a bit odd which was the only draw back. It's in two wings that are not connected except through the lobby (which is only annoying if you have a party split into two rooms which we did :) ). And then it's like half floors. So lobby is on floor two but if you were using the stairs to get to floor three you'd first have to go down to floor one and then up to floor 3. Not like a huge deal but not convenient when hauling luggage or getting ice. Had I known before we could have requested our rooms be in the same hall. But again didn't overall affect our stay.

Our group travels to, and meet at the Aarchway Inn annually. The people are friendly at the hotel, the service is great, and we are pleased to return every year. The location is very convenient, and the amenities on-site are excellent. The barbeque area is like a large park!
