Amazing stay in the center of Springdale for Zion hiking

We only stayed here on a whim because a rockfall on Hwy 9 prevented us from getting to our intended hotel. We came into Springhill searching for a reasonable price last minute. They beat any price we had seen at 4 other motels and hotels in the area (by a long shot).
- The hotel had amazing facilities, especially for us post-hikers. There was a heated pool and hot tub outdoors, stocked with clean towels. It was beautiful to see the night's stars while in the hot tub.
- The hotel itself and the rooms were clean and warmly decorated. We even had a view of the mountains. It was great to have the window and blinds open so you wake up to the light rising behind the mountains!
- Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms well stocked and clean.
- Our room had a couch and TV that had Crave and Netflix functionality. Perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking.
- The location for access to Zion National Park was unbeatable. We walked across the street to get on the shuttle bus!
- Continental breakfast was included and one of the best in quality we've had at a hotel like this. They tailored it perfectly to a hiker's pre-hike meal! They had hot oatmeal with all the fixings, cage-free scrambled eggs, sausage and pepper chorizo, spinach, salsa, + muffins, scones, and fruit. Coffee was actually good.

Gorgeous Room

We had a full sitting area, hallway, walk-in closet, ensuite and bedroom. Everything was superb quality and well-appointed. I appreciated that I could login to my own Netflix account on their TV. The bed was super comfy and the best thing was the shower! It's not often you get good pressure in a hotel, but this shower was excellent. The breakfast daily was good and the seating area was beautiful. One night at golden hour I was able to get some beautiful reflection shots in the pond beside our room. The only negative was a snarky check-in lady, but maybe she was just having a bad day.

Located in walking distance to restaurants, shops, and only a short drive to Zion National Park. The rooms are very spacious and clean. As a party of 5, we had plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably.

Wonderful stay and close to Zion NP

The hot tub was wonderful and watching sunset on the mountains from it is fabulous. The pool was not open in February but it is large and looks as if it can accommodate a number of guests without feeling crowded.
Breakfast is standard fare but many coffee shops and restaurants are walking distance.
Bus pick up stop for Zion NP is right out front.

There was a lot of thought, creativity and thoughtful planning by the owner, architect and designer. The lobby’s view was stunning. The breakfast was superb and the breakfast staff was friendly and kept everything clean and stocked! We had a couple of questions one morning and Nikki was super friendly, quite helpful and it was obvious that she was a people person and loved what she did! I imagine in a resort town, working in hospitality can be monotonous and hard to stay upbeat and chipper bit kudos to Nikki and the breakfast staff…thank you!
