Beautiful suite, great pool area, but basic breakfast

We upgraded to a suite, which was upgraded, clean, spacious, and 2 separate living areas. When you walk in, there's the living room with TV & desk, and a trundle bed/sofa. The trundle bed/sofa was nice/comfortable for our toddler, but the wood frame had sharp edges that we felt was unsafe. Then a narrow hallway (with a kitchen sink, microwave, and mini fridge) leads to the main bedroom. There was a large, walk in closet, and the bathroom didn't feel tight, like some hotels do. I liked the room a lot and felt comfortable. The pool area had a hot tub, splash pad area, and fireplace. It was spacious too and never felt crowded. The breakfast area next to the lobby was beautifully done and clean. They had table inside and outside, highchairs for babies, a billiards table, etc. The breakfast itself was lacking. It's typical American with few healthy choices. I asked about a non-dairy milk option (almond, oat, soy), but was told they didn't have that. I feel that if we're paying $275 a night, there should be non-dairy milk, real maple syrup, and decent toilet paper.

The overall stay was amazing, the lady that check me in on Aug 20 was great, the staff who accommodated all my need was also great, However the day of check out Aug 23. I asked for a late check out and only one of my rooms was accommodated which was not problem I am more than understanding . The issues is with the housekeeper working that floor about 11am , the young lady was very rude and disrespectful making comments about my kids being loud and we need to hurry up and leave. She also said and if I dont leave out of 219 she going to charge a another night this was 10:55am (I verbally heard her say this ) I checkout at 11:07am, mind you I work for a Marriott property in Customer Service/HR, so I understand policies and guest satisfaction . This incident is very unacceptable but to end a good note the hotel is beautiful and the overall staff was great. Thank you

Best ever Springhill Suites!

Wonderful family vacation at Springhill Suites in July 2023

Wonderful family vacation at Springhill Suites near Zion National Park. We arrived in late July for three nights in two rooms. Jodi, Front Office Manager, was excellent to greet us on arrival and all during our stay. Jodi made sure that our stay was great and gave us great advice about restaurants. Our two rooms had a spectacular view of Zion Mountain from our balcony especially at sunset. The breakfast was excellent and my two teenage grandkids enjoyed the eggs and waffles. The hotel is on stop 6 of the Springdale shuttle to Zion National Park. Short walk to the shuttle stop. One tip is that the park is very crowded on the weekends. Jodi helped me with the onsite laundry machines which are great so you leave the hotel with clean clothes. We will book another trip back to Springhill Suites.

We loved it! Great view, pool and hot tub were awesome. Everything was very clean and rooms were spacious. Pricy but they all are in this area. Its one of the hotels on the farther end of the road (working your way away from ZIon) but the shuttles in town & thru the park are super convienent, easy and free (only run till 8pm tho). We also could walk about 20/25 mins to most of the shops/restaurants. Free breakfast was great and hot and had a variety! Great Italian restaurant across the road (but pricey).
