We stayed here 2 years ago and it was great so on our recent hiking trip through Utah we decided to stay here again. There are only 8 rooms and their standard rooms were sold out but since we were staying 3 nights we decided their King Suite would be good and it was. Large one bedroom suite with a full kitchen. Stove, full size fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Nice patio out the back door of the suite with a big table, 6 chairs and a gas grill (we didn't use the grill but we sat outside a lot). The lobby isn't currently open but it was easy to get our keys and they have people available if you need anything (we didn't). Leading up to the trip we had a couple of questions and they were answered via email promptly. There are cheaper places to stay but this is a great place, and I would recommend the King Suite if you are staying more than one night. Recommended.

As soon as we planned to return to Escalante for a backpacking trip, I reserved a room here because we loved it the last time we were in Utah. Though our backpacking plans changed because of the threat of flash floods, we were again delighted with Entrada Escalante. I was honestly a bit jealous when we walked into our suite (really a bit more like an apartment) and it is fancier than our actual house! It is lovely to have some luxury when you come from camping and there is no judgment if you show up sweaty and grimy from a long hike. Even the towels are brown because they know you will be covered in red dirt. My husband appreciated the free snacks and we gratefully took advantage of the free laundry after two weeks of road travel. The new managers were friendly and we highly recommend this as a great stop in a beautiful area of Utah.

So glad I stayed here! Every aspect of my stay was excellent. Great on-line information, contactless/direct to your room check-in, beautifully appointed rooms, snacks and water in the room, a back porch looking out on a field and hills, and, best of all, the owners let me park my motorcycle under cover. I came in just ahead of a storm and sat in my room having dinner with the back door open to the sight of lightning on the hills, and the sound of the rain and crashing thunder. Has a very good smothered Chile Verde Burrito from the Mexican Cafe Georgie’s across the street.

Delightful small details!

Lovely special place with many delightful small details. It was so inviting especially with the back porch we decided in eat in our room. It was a pleasant stay after four days at a trade show in Las Vegas. The weather was wonderful in late July. We are looking forward to exploring the area, even though we have been here several times.

We’ll be back

friendly hosts, we arrived 11pm no reservation. Wendy&Terry welcomed us warmly! In the morning we ate on our back patio watching the sun rise. At checkout, George the big fluffy dog welcomed us extra warmly! Human and dog treats complimentary. Everything was Clean and new, no moldy grout, and it was very tastefully decorated. Loved it!!! We’ll be back
