What a great home base for exploring the Escalante/Grand Staircase area. Great location, super comfortable, clean, and packed with amenities that any traveler will appreciate. Very quiet. So nice to come home to! The shower alone is enough to bring us back!

Amazing area and fantastic hotel to serve as your “base camp”.

This small, 8 room hotel feels more like an AirBnB than a hotel. Our two queen unit was very spacious with a kitchenette - fridge, microwave, toaster oven and dining table. Huge bathroom with a double shower. Nice big screen TV (although only watched a couple of March Madness games cuz the area is too beautiful to waste time watching TV!). Well stocked with lots of little extras including local regional coffee, creamer, tea, oatmeal, snacks and other nice to have amenities. Laundry onsite with soap included. The unit felt brand new and was very clean. We were within walking distance of the Park visitor center, which was highly informative, plus could walk about anywhere else in town within about 10-15 minutes. (Highly recommend Escalante Outfitters for dinner - great pizzas, sandwiches and d salads as well as Magnolia’s Kitchen for breakfast on the other end of town.) So many great hikes and adventures around here - Dry Fork area (Peekaboo and Spooky slots), Devils Garden, Petrified Forest, Calf Creek Lower Falls Trail were the ones we did - all incredible. Again start at the park visitor center - folks there are super helpful and informative. Highly recommend Entrada Escalante and the town of Escalante is a perfect place to enjoy the Grand Staircase!

Loved it!!!

It’s so cute! They have made the rooms so welcoming with all kinds of handy items like plates, silverware, etc. Beautiful view out back with rocking chairs and a throw for warmth. Firepit out front. But the kicker was food and water bowls for my dog with her name on a little sign!

Such a lovely spot. Essentials were provided in plenty but there were many elements added for comfort. We arrived in snow and electricity was out throughout town but we were given candles and a lighter. Thankfully power was restored quickly. Would love to return.

The Entrada Escalante Lodge was one of the highlights of our Utah Parks Road Trip. The room is a perfect respite from hiking, featuring perfectly executed details in every corner. We loved the ribbon-tied blanket on the rocking chairs outside, the well-stocked snack basket, the ample towels, and the beautifully appointed bathroom. The hosts were lovely, with suggestions for hiking (don't miss the Peek-a-boo and Spooky Slot Canyons!). Stay here!
