Even though we visited Bryce Trails during the Covid 19 time, we felt safe and well taken care of. Our room (Navajo Loop) was large and immaculate with every ammenity. Our host Ed was great. He and his wife cooked a gourmet breakfast every day and when we had to leave early provided us with a hot breakfast to go. This is a great base for Bryce Canyon and many other wonderful state parks nearby. Ed told us about some nearby state parks and dirt roads that we explored and it was wonderful! I would highly recommend Bryce Trails BnB.

If you ever decide to visit Bryce Canyon and do some serious hiking absolutely try out this really cute and homie Bed and Breakfast place. The owners Ed and Lena are very sweet and friendly. The house was clean and rooms were super clean and spacious. Ed cooked breakfast and the food was amazing and creative. The coffee was phenomenal! They grow their own vegetables. It's always nice to eat good quality food. We were very happy with our stay.

Accommodations were as advertised and the check in was easy. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a B&B. Not too far from Bryce Canyon. There isn’t phone service in the town of Tropic was the only drawback, so you’ll have to rely on WiFi at the place itself.

Perfect Getaway Under The Rim

This was the perfect bed and breakfast to have a mini-getaway. We stayed in Under The Rim. I appreciated how easy the check-in process was, directions on where our room was located, and what time breakfast was. The property is located in the town Tropic, which is about a 10-15 minute drive into Bryce National Park. I chose this location because it was away from where all the tourists were staying (Bryce), and we had planned on driving to the trails anyhow to avoid having to take the park shuttles. Under the Rim was very clean, spacious, nicely decorated, and the window view of Bryce National Park was fantastic! The room had great amenities such as a mini fridge, coffee machine, water kettle, tea, mugs, disposable earplugs, clean towels, toothpaste packages, shampoo, and body wash. Outside in the hallway, there was an ice machine, microwave, disposable utensils, disposable plates/cups, and drinking glasses. There are some delicious restaurants about less than half a mile from the B&B. It was nice to get takeout and eat in our room with AC and the perfect view. Breakfast was delicious! Ed and Leah made us eggs benedict, freshly garden grown tomatoes, bacon and sausage. The presentation was beautiful as well as taste. For drinks they offered us fresh orange juice, a variety of Rishi Tea, coffee and a great selection of different creamers/milk alternatives. Having breakfast in their home was like having brunch somewhere in LA. They asked us how we slept, if we needed anything in our room and were a lovely couple to hear stories of their past adventures. We let them know which hikes we were thinking of going into the park. Leah offered us some brochures of information of the park and Ed was kind enough to give us some helpful tips for getting into the park, things to bring, and good local restaurants to eat at. The wifi was very reliable. Helpful tip, if you are using Google Maps on your phone, I suggest inputting the address on your phone with the wifi in case you lose reception while driving away from their home. After our hike at Fairytale Trail, we picked up some lunch and ate in our room. The AC in the room was perfect, especially after hiking an 8-mile trek. We took a small cat nap and were recharged for our next hike, Peekaboo Trail (5 miles). After our hike we went back to the B&B and took a cold shower. This was like being reborn again...the water pressure was AMAZING!!! The B&B provides Netflix which was great to unwind, eat and watch with leftovers, and just relax after a long day of hiking. The house was SO quiet and we had such a restful night sleep. We mentioned on our second day we were going to watch the sunrise and weren't sure if we would make it back for breakfast. Leah was so thoughtful and packed us breakfast bags ( delicious toast with tomatoes and mozzarella cream cheese, Cliff bars, peaches, waters, and other small snacks). After the morning sunrise, we came back and took a nap before checkout. Don't forget to leave a note in their guestbook ( lots of wonderful experiences from other guests in the past). I am already missing Southern Utah, but most of all missing this bed and breakfast! Thanks Ed and Leah for being such great hosts! We would love to support your local business again in the winter!

We spent a lovely 4 nights at the Bryce Trails B&B. We hiked each morning in Bryce Canyon (about 10-15 minutes away from Tropic where the B&B is located) and then spent our afternoons relaxing in our room, reading, napping, playing games before going back out for dinner each night. Our room, Navajo Loop, was spacious enough for the 3 of us and our daughter liked the double futon bed. The gourmet breakfasts were amazing! Ed and Leah were wonderful hosts and also provided us with recommendations for hiking, restaurants, etc. We highly recommend this B&B!
