I’ll start with a short summary: Check in was simple and contactless. Room was very clean with some nice extras. Breakfast was included and served each morning to-go to maintain Covid-19 guidelines. It was delicious! Hosts Ed and Liene were gracious and friendly. We would happily stay here again. And now for the details: We checked in after 10:30, but it was not an issue. Our key was waiting for us with directions to our room. We signed in and made notations of any food allergies/aversions. We stayed in Mossy Cave, up the stairs and at the end of the hallway. The hallway with the majority of the rooms has a microwave, paper plates and utensils, a small ice maker, glasses and bottle opener for wine. Our room had a coffee maker, teapot, small fridge, mugs, coffee, hot chocolate, and tea, and Utah mint truffles. (If you are from Utah you know these are amazing and if you’re not, you need to try them and enjoy the love!) Hangers were in the closet, a futon bed, king sized bed, extra blankets, chair and table for reading, earplugs, 50” television with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney + etc. (We just needed to enter our own password for Disney + and then logged out before we left.) The bathroom had big fluffy towels and washcloths (kind of a big deal in my world), disposable cups, individual toothpaste, hand sanitizer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, and shower caps. And I know this seems lame, but the toilet had a peach scented gell that made the room smell so fresh. Large adjustable shower head, decent water pressure and soft water (probably natural in this area of Utah.) BREAKFAST! Okay, this was so impressive! Every day included a to-go bag with juice, yogurt with berries and granola (I didn’t ask but I’m pretty sure this was homemade because it was amazing!), napkins, utensils, and an additional item which changed daily. Additionally, there was a hot, made to order dish. Day 1: California Eggs Benedict, Bacon, Sausage, peach muffin. Day 2: Crepes—one with a cream cheese mixture the other with Nutella, strawberries, peach jam. Day 3: Two sunny side eggs, bacon, beans, avocado and tomato salsa, apple turnover. Ed is the photographer behind all of the beautiful artwork throughout the B&B! They are for sale. Cons: We couldn’t regulate the temperature of our room and my hubby got cold every night (even with the two extra blankets on him.) It was hard to see the sign for the lodge at night. It is there, and lit, but behind the parked cars. When we arrived it was completely hidden and we weren’t sure we were in the right place because it is very dark there. (Not that the owners have any control over this...) the property just behind the lodge has chickens and a very loud rooster who will tell you it’s time to wake up and get ready for breakfast. 😅 Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this establishment!! Thank you Ed and Liene!

Extraordinary place, extraordinary people, with extraordinary food.

The rooms are very nice, not fancy, but have everything you could possibly need. The bed is very comfortable, shower is excellent, strong and plenty of hot water. We had a small sitting area in our room with a magnificent view and it was wonderfully quiet. The rooms have a refrigerator, coffee maker with excellent coffee provided, and they left the most amazing truffles I have ever eaten. We brought much of our food for lunches and snacks are we were traveling during CoVid and the off season. Its really hard to describe how amazing the breakfast was, we have traveled the world over and have rarely had such delicious breakfast. Each day our hosts provided fresh baked pastries, in addition to an extortionary main course. One day it was eggs benedict, the next the best crepes I've ever eaten, another individual soufflés, and really enough food to last till dinner :-). The hosts (Edgar and Liene) made me an amazing peach, almond birthday cake.

Lovely B and B

Ed and Liene are consummate hosts and fabulous cooks! I requested some sort of a treat for my sister’s birthday and Liene made a gorgeous peach and almond cake for her. She was thrilled! Ed and Liene really go above and beyond to make your visit special.

We stayed for three nights and found this place comfortable, roomy and convenient for a visit to Bryce Canyon and surrounding areas. Very Covid aware too and did not need much contact with others. Diverse and delicious full breakfasts with wonderful home baked goods. Nice people. Highly recommended!

Watch out for change or cancellation fee

Book a reservation a year in advance. I had to cancel due to the covid issue. Owner initially refused to cancel stating they had ne funds. My CC company got involved and over four month forced a refund. However their fine print has a " change fee" for every change. I was charged for two. One for requesting a change on the same day i booked the original reservation to add an additional day. The other was for the final cancelation. We have never been there so my comments are based on their customer service. We had 22 nights book for this trip an never had an issue with any of the others.
