VERY firm beds.

The Desert rose is definitely a cut above your average nice hotel room. And breakfast was great. So why only 3 stars? The beds are incredibly hard. I hardly slept the first night because of the pain I was experiencing. My companion did a little better, but had the same issues. Your experience may vary, of course.
So sorry, Desert Rose, but I'll sleep in the car before I'll go back.

Lovely Cabins just outside of Monument Valley

We were only staying for one night and thankfully, my Husband booked the Desert Rose. This is a beautiful cabin style property in Bluff- a cute, historic little town about a 40 min drive from Monument Valley.
We got the large cabin on the end with the king bed and it was really lovely. Comfy bed, nice bathroom and a fantastic wrap around porch. It was quiet and the
perfect place to relax. The ONLY thing- absolutely NO cell service and the Wifi
was spotty so be advised if you really need a connection.
We didn't eat at Duke's Restaurant because we had a big lunch but it looked really nice. We did have the breakfast the next morning. It's a basic hotel breakfast buffet but it was fine. We only spent the one night so we didn't use any other amenities (and it
did rain that evening) but I would definitely recommend Desert Rose if you will be visiting the area.

Nicest Option in the region but $$$

The rooms are clean, cozy and unique.
The decorations are out of Restoration Hardware - (in my opinion) - very classy and top notch.
The building with the pool was decorated with purpose and style. I would’ve liked to stay a
Day longer to take advantage of the amenities.
The only minor complaint is the front desk. When I called a few weeks ago to inquire about a reservation, the lady was abrupt and rude making me hesitant to make a reservation. Upon check in, a different woman was working. She was courteous, however, I still think they could be more pleasant. Spending near $300 should come with basic appreciation of the guests.

Relaxing, comfortable and serene. The attached Dukes restaurant is exceptional!Relaxing, comfortable and serene.

It was the most relaxing and beautiful place to stay plus, it was a very short drive to all of the spectacular monuments in southern Utah that one would want to see. This includes the gooseneck State Park, Valley of the gods Drive, monument Valley, and several spectacular locations that are worth seeing near Bluff without any special monument names. This is the southern edge of the bears ears national monument that you hear about so much in the news today.
