I love this place. Been in the past and it’s still a lovely breakfast stop before you enter the park. Beautiful setting in the forest with plenty of parking. The Yellowstone east entrance is just a couple of miles Very nice staff that are really helpful. There are toilets and a good gift shop.

Great Location

We stayed during a trip to Yellowstone.. staff was friendly and accommodating.. our room was clean and well serviced... no TV, and satellite internet service in the public lodge area is spotty at times.. the historical Buffalo Bill Lodge on site is great and the knowledgable Bill Cody lookalike was delightful.. take advantage of the tour while you are there... restaurant on site provided a good meal.. did breakfast and dinner there.. nothing else around for 40 miles or so. buffalo were right out side or door the entire time we were there.... this is not a place for princesses looking for screen time and pampering... great place to access Yellowstone from the east

Great place to stay ..

We stayed in one of the A frames lots of space and very quite .. we did not have any cell signal and there are no Tv's .. but that was just fine .. it was so nice too walk around the grounds visit the river flowing next to the resort .. and the staff .. what nice people .. and you are only 2 miles from the park entrance .. that is a plus..

If you are looking for a no frills basic stay with no cell phones, no TV this is the place. Our room was rustic but clean. Just a simple get back to nature place. Woke up most mornings with Bison somewhere around our cabin. Restaurant was wonderful with great food and service.

We were on our way to Gardiner, through Yellowstone park. The East gate to the park had been shut so while we waited we visited for a coffee. The staff were lovely and happy to accommodate, offering takeout coffee too as we left. The waitress gave us lots of tips for the area and where to see bears! They also offered a lodge for the night should the park not re-open. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Yellowstone Park.
