We were nervous traveling during the pandemic but needed a break from our house. We chose Moab Springs Ranch because we didn't want to gather in hallways or elevators with strangers. They have contactless check-in and no one comes in to clean the room during your stay (you can ask for supplies and they leave them on the doorstep). Everything felt very clean. Our family of four stayed in Ranch House Bungalow #44 with our dog. It was perfect!
ROOM: We arrived after dark but they had the lights on in our bungalow to welcome us. The room was bigger than we expected but still felt cozy. We loved the high ceilings and huge shower with two showerheads. We appreciated having a ceiling fan. The kitchenette has a dishwasher, microwave, mini fridge, and dishes. There was plenty of space to set up the crate for our dog. The room was quiet even though there is road construction in front of the property. We enjoyed our time on the front porch. #44 is in a central location so we were close to the Main House, Ice House, Meadow, basketball court, and dog potty area.
OUTDOOR AREAS: We loved listening to the running spring water as we relaxed in hammocks in the Meadow. We did the short hike to Arrowhead Hill, the perfect place to watch the sunrise or sunset (it also has a picnic table). There's a large grassy area next to the Main House. The hot tub was closed because of COVID-19 (and the pool was closed because it's off-season). It has a paved trail that leads to Lion's Park or into town (though it's not great right now with the road construction).
DOG-FRIENDLY: The potty area is nice but the grass was soaked with water during our stay. They provide poop bags if you don't have your own. Leashed dogs are allowed in most areas with the exception of the Meadow (which is too bad because we loved spending time here but it would have been nice to have our dog with us).
BREAKFAST: Breakfast is not included but they have a small place where you can buy a bagel sandwich ($6.25) protein bowl ($7), house made granola ($6), etc. It's open from 7:00 am to 11:00 am but closed on Mondays.
We absolutely loved our peaceful stay at Moab Springs Ranch and we can't wait to stay here again!

Private cabins, great view, great COVID experience
Rooms were great. Shower was awesome with the 2 shower heads one being the rain from the top type. Great amount of water.
Parking was easy.
Checkin was super easy. Well done on the no contact check in.
We wanted to see if we could burn a new candle (you can't) called the desk and they answered quickly.
Great place to stay.

My favorite place!!!
Not a detail is overlooked at this place, from the fresh ground coffee in the rooms, cutest breakfast spot in the main building, hiking path next to the hotel, picnic table on a hill to watch the sunsets. Super comfy beds, huge shower, beautifully decorated with a modern farmhouse style. Just Adorable, we absolutely loved it!

Amazing stay, worth the price!
We stayed for two days at Moab Springs Ranch. I'm not going to focus on the road construction, as that's not this place's fault or responsibility. Just be advised that getting into and out of Moab might get congested during peak times until 2021 (which is when the construction is supposed to be done?).
I loved our little cabin - it was clean and comfortable, with a great shower and fridge. We didn't use the big TV, but it looked like they had a great setup. I misunderstood the kitchen situation - you get a sink, coffee maker (with local coffee!) and a fridge, but no microwave. You'll need to use the grills outside for cooking (or do what we did and order pizza). On my first night I requested a kettle and the manager brought one over before he left for the night! That was a level of niceness I wasn't expecting.
The layout of the Ranch is wonderful - there's a gentle trail around the place that takes you up to where you can watch the sunrise over Moab proper (this place is not in the center of town). There is an enclosed space with hammocks and a pond. I really enjoyed getting up early and just wandering around - it's peaceful and inviting, great for bird watching.
I have to give praise to their customer service - I left something in my cabin after we checked out and didn't even realize it till someone from Moab Springs called me. They offered to mail me the item (I did have to pay for shipping it) which again was a step above and beyond!
Downsides: Due to COVID-19, the on-site coffee shop/ breakfast place was closed, so we didn't get to enjoy that. There was also the mandatory "no groups" policy, so it wasn't a social atmosphere. I don't blame them for this at all - if anything, it's good to see them taking the pandemic seriously. Also the price - it's more than I usually spend on a place, but you get your own complete cabin so it's worth it.
All in all - I hope to go back again. I highly recommend Moab Springs Ranch!

Good but ....
We were traveling with our pup and decided to spend 5 days in Moab. This place was one of the dog-friendly hotels we found and as they also had individual cottages, it seemed really attractive.
What we didn't know and were never told by the hotel (staff or website) is that there is major road construction going on in the road into town right in front of the hotel. The traffic to get into town and to the hotel from the north is a total nightmare. The day we arrived, it took us over 45 minutes to traverse the last 1 mile.
On the positive side, check in was contactless and easy as promised. Parking was great. The cottage itself was large, clean and comfortable. The front porch/patio was large and had chairs and tables. The bed is king size and comfortable. The AC worked well and there was also a ceiling fan. The large walk-in shower with the rain shower head was awesome. The room was quiet and we slept well even though we were right next to the highway. Right in front of our cottage was the main hotel reception and coffee shop (which was open only 4 days a week), which is situated in a historic and beautiful building. There is also a green area next to the building where dogs can play. There is also a gas barbeque and sitting areas next to the main building.
The staff was extremely helpful and polite. In fact the first night when we tried to grill, the grill would not turn on and the person working immediately called their handyman and he brought out a new grill, which we used. Supplies (coffee, toilet paper, soap, etc.) were replaced when requested every morning.
The other thing that really got me upset is that the main area next to the stream with hammocks below shady cottonwood trees is OFF LIMITS TO DOGS. So we never got to use it.
I would recommend this hotel if you don't have pets, so that you can enjoy all the amenities. Also make sure that the construction is over before you go.
Finally there is no food delivery service in Moab, so be prepared to drive into town for every meal.
