Trip to Glacier National Park
The room was spacious and the refrigerator was a decent size. The breakfast folks were outstanding, especially under the COVID restrictions and we enjoyed having a hot breakfast. The location allows you to go to Glacier National Park and the surrounding area along with Whitefish and Kalispell. Except for Jessica, mostly the front desk staff was not particularly friendly or knowledgeable. Also at times the front desk was poorly staffed. For all that is going on in the area, I would have expected a lot more information would be provided or offered. Do your own research and make calls and ask locals that you meet for suggestions. Nearby Three Forks Grill is great for dinner (make a reservation). At least for the park itself we had great suggestions from the folks at the visitor center in the park. We were on the 1st floor and the hallway carpet could use a good cleaning. It was very odd that they said due to COVID they could not fix the broken hook on the bathroom wall.

Not friendly counter staff
We had a reservation and after 5 hours of driving we came to the hotel, (not a lodge), to possibly check in. The front sliding glass doors are locked and you must press a button for the counter person to talk to you. I asked if possibly the room was ready and she rudely said "no, check in is at 4", not even checking to see. I then asked if we could come in to use the bathroom, and reluctantly, she let us in to do that. I don't want to bore with more of this but that the new worker from northern California,(because that's where she said she was from) was not receptive at all. She needs to go. This was the first rude person we encountered on our trip to Montana. Everyone up to this point had been great. Find another counter person who doesn't ruin the trip. BTW open up the facility, namely pool, gym, etc, this is ridiculous as every other hotel we stayed at is open all the way with no masks even required.

Would not stay again
Positives - large room. Decent bed. Pretty hotel.
negatives - noisy rooms. Not sure what it was but it was a Loud knocking/water running sound next to our room at all times of day. night clerk was very unfriendly. Towels are old and scratchy. Got to be a better place to stay in Columbia Falls.
The lady who cooks in the breakfast bar is the nicest, hardest working person at the hotel. She’s a gem.

We had a family trip to Glacier National Park and we stayed at this hotel. The service was average, but the reason for the three stars is the fact that the front desk gave us a room that opens up to see the roof of the foyer. During the entire stay we could not open the window. The hotel had very minimal guest, and the front desk said that we can't get an alternate room. Breakfast was very average - but with the Covid situation, that is understandable. Overall for the price we paid, it was good - but, it felt unacceptable that the front desk will not give us an alternate room that would have helped us to have the windows open.

3 stars for the hotel, 4 stars for the location
The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Our room was very open and had plenty of space. Breakfast was decent. I was impressed by the selection of food and beverages, yet quantity definitely outweighed quality. Nothing about our stay was horrible nor was it so outstanding as to earn five stars.
The location was excellent for getting to Glacier National Park and White Fish.
