Stayed at this property with the family and due to my Hilton status we were upgraded. The upgrade was fantastic. A King suite with three rooms. We had plenty of room, a patio and a bbq grill. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy. Zion National Park is within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed breakfast on site and would recommend.

Stayed here 2 nights in a Villa after Christmas. The renovations are lovely. The room looks just like the photos. Plenty of room for extra people with the 2 queen beds in 1 room, a sofa sleeper, and a King bed in the other room. The couch/tv area is smaller, but most of the time is spent outdoors...it’s Zion! The kitchen area has small walkway on either side of counters, but again, most people would be outside. Small dorm size refrigerator. Awesome views out of the big windows. Comfortable beds. The bedrooms are on either side of kitchen, so plenty of privacy. Big fancy showers and big fancy bathtub on the King side. Loved this place. Very close to park entrance and within walking distance to visitor center and the trams. It is the second hotel from Zion Entrance, so also less waiting in line for cars. The hot tub was open in the winter as well. I would highly recommend. Upstairs room. No elevator for this Villa....if you have a lot of items to carry up.

This family-owned Lodge just recently become one of the newest members of the Curio Collection. It is quaint, very clean and the staff is incredibly hospitable. The location is absolutely perfect as you can walk to several great restaurants as well as Zion Nat’l Park. It is clear they have gone through a monumental effort to adhere to Hilton’s Curio standards, which makes for a perfect blend of local Springdale charm and contemporary style.

Good in some ways ....frustrating in others.
First I will start with the positives. Our 2 bedroom riverside room was lovely. And comfortable. We like the location. Very pretty. The gentlemen manning the front desk were very nice.
Here is where we started to have issues. First is we chose to change our reservation from Zion lodge, where we have stayed many times, to this hotel based on it being part of curio collection. When booking I asked about upgrades for diamond members and was told yes if there was availability we would be upgraded. When I called the morning of check in I was told the hotel was sold out and no upgrades. Yet I could book an upgraded room online. Turns out there were upgraded rooms but an employee was “holding them”. They did fix it and we were able to get an upgraded room but it was unneeded frustration.
The thing that really made our stay disappointing was the restaurant. Before I changed to this hotel I asked about the restaurant. I was told it was open for breakfast and dinner. This was very important to us because we didn’t want to go running off for meals. We wanted to have our meals at hotel.
We walked in their restaurant at 9am first day. We got our food at 945am. And there was hardly anyone there. One couple got very upset and walked out. I will say the food did taste good.
That night was my birthday. We went to lobby in afternoon asking about dinner. They showed us the menu. It looked good. So we came in for dinner at around 630pm. Only ones there. It started off good with poutine as an appetizer. Then we waited a long time for food. When it came my dinner (chicken) was so overcooked you couldn’t even cut it with a knife. Our waitress was apologetic. Said they would make us another one. My son and husband finished their meal while I sat there with no food on what was a special occasion. Finally I received my meal. It was better but not great. Our waitress said they wouldn’t charge me for my meal.
So the bill came and we wanted to charge it to the room. Nope. Said they were having issues. Had to Pay with a credit card. We mentioned we earn Hilton points and that was why we wanted to charge to room and was told no. There was one other customer who was also a diamond Hilton member eating his meal and he was told same thing. Left feeling frustrated with the whole bad experience. Especially because this trip was all centered around my birthday and the meal was so bad.
Morning came. Back for breakfast. This time food came in timely manner. My omelet was missing a bunch of Ingredients. My son didn’t get his sausage. My husbands griddle cakes were dough in the middle and not cooked. We were told new cook.
We then went to check out. We were charged 70 bucks for breakfast the day before. We should have received two free meals for diamond and be charged for my sons meal. My husband said the day before he wasn’t presented with any bill to sign. Same thing happened this morning. Nothing to sign.
I was told they would take meal off till they could sort it out. I also mentioned breakfast this morning and who knows if they will overcharge us again. So we had to leave with nothing in writing and an incorrect folio.
In addition our Hilton credit card is not showing this as a Hilton priority so we won’t get correct points for the stay.
Not sure we would return. What should have been a nice stay turned in to a bunch of frustration.

Location Outstanding, Customer Service on Site Excellent ....BUT....
You cannot have a better location for access to Zion. It really is an easy walk and the grounds around the hotel are on the river. The customer service on site was very good and they worked hard to find me a room that would work. However, there are some issues that concern me for a Hilton of this 'speciality'. First, the standard queen room was so small, that if one of the four of us sat in the one chair by the desk, no one could move except to climb on the beds! We were upgraded to the villa. This was three rooms with a large kitchen. It was so disappointing ..... there was one chair in each room and NO WHERE to sit comfortably and visit. The kitchen area hard a large table with 10 plastic and uncomfortable chairs. I would expect this in a school cafeteria, not the Curio collection by Hilton.
My expectations are that there be at least two places to sit in a room and two lamps to read. I expect a working TV (if TV is provided). These simple expectations were not met. If the weather had been nice they did provide great outdoor seating.
I was also disappointed that there was NO place to gather indoors and visit. If you wanted to sit and chat with others, there was no lobby to speak of. I would only consider staying here again because of the location and the ability to leave my car and walk to the park.
Making the reservation on the phone with the hotel was challenging and frustrating ..... recommend you book on line and avoid dealing with the reservation staff. Just be aware that if you book a queen standard room it will be VERY small, room for two beds and the desk with one chair. Not acceptable for me in a luxury hotel.
