We stayed at the Driftwood Lodge in Springdale, Utah, while visiting Zion. We got a room with a king size bed on the first floor. The room was super clean and the bed super comfy. There was a microwave and good sized fridge in the room as well. We slept well, very quiet and the room was reasonably priced. The free shuttle into Zion is right outside the hotel. There is no free breakfast, but we bought food a local grocery store for breakfast in our room each morning, which worked great for us.

Comfortable, convenient lodging. Beautiful view right on the property. River running through back of the lodge. Shuttle stop is right on the road in front of the lodge that will take you to Zion. No breakfast on site.

Nice location

The lodge is situated on a river and we paid for a view so we had the river right off the back door. That was really nice. The room was clean but not exactly cozy. The sheets were really scratchy so that wasn’t helping. The young lady at the front desk was super pleasant and very competent.

Top notch

I had such a great stay here - no complaints at all! And I loved how dog friendly the hotel is. They have a few dog-allowed rooms, which are all the way at one side of the property. Those rooms (and maybe all rooms?) have a lovely patio area at the back that looks out onto wide grassy fields and trees, going down to the river that runs behind the property. There are also nice sitting areas scattered around the property, including down by the river. Make sure you stroll around and enjoy it all! The staff was super friendly from reservation to check out. The hotel is RIGHT AT a Zion shuttle stop, which could not be more convenient. And it's just a few minutes drive through Springdale to anything else, as the town is not big at all. There's a delicious restaurant on site (no dogs allowed at the restaurant patio, but I did takeout and had a lovely dinner on my room's patio instead, with my dog), if you don't want to get out for dinner. The room also had a little kitchenette (mini fridge and microwave) so I could eat leftovers and make breakfast in my room easily). The room itself was great. It was hugely spacious, beyond any expectation for this Manhattan girl, very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I loved the bathtub, and the private patio area out back was delightful. I 100% recommend this hotel, especially for those traveling with dogs (reserve early! - you have to call the hotel to reserve a dog room), and I would love to come back and stay again!

- On the town shuttle route. Use the shuttle to get to Zion National Park and then take the park shuttle. No reason to take your car. - We had a second floor room with a beautiful view from the balcony. - Had a bedroom, and a sitting room. The one issue we had was the decorating in the sitting room. I've sat in dentist's waiting rooms with more warmth. Should have some pictures on the walls. It's a minor issue. - Restaurant on site, Kings Landing Bistro. Intimate, a bit expensive ($14 for a glass of wine), but good food and nice scenery. Patio available.
