I can't believe this place gets more than 2 stars. I thought the iconic Ruby's Inn would be well taken care of - it's not. The rooms are incredibly old and dated and frankly felt dirty. The "breakfast" was not good at all and don't get me started on dinner there. The problem is that you don't have a lot of other options in Bryce Canyon City, so they can get their standards low because you don't have many other choices. The plus sides were the amount of room (we had 2 queen beds, 1 king suite) and the proximity to the shuttle. If you're looking to stay at Bryce Canyon, I'd check out the Best Western across the street. At least that was new.

Ruby's Inn goes above and beyond! I grew up coming here and the whole experience is just as amazing as I remember. They offer all that you would need and want to do. I also love the General Store and they sell a little of everything! I love the fountain drinks too!

Due to complications on our reservations through a website that went bankrupt, our reservation at the Best Western Plus Canyon Grand Hotel vanished. A beautiful hotel upon entering, but very disappointed finding that we had no reservation. However, the staff did everything possible, including finding us rooms for the two nights at the Best Western Plus Ruby’s Inn across the highway. A very disappointing stay. An aged hotel that is a borderline “Plus” by Best Western Hotel standards, in my opinion. Highly recommend staying at the Best Western Plus Canyon Grand Hotel.

Ruby’s Inn was very clean, staff was friendly. Bathroom was a bit dated, but also clean. We liked that it was included in the shuttle stops for Bryce Canyon. Wish the breakfast opened at 6 so we could get started earlier, but the buffet was great and the food was warm and fresh.

Great location and many choices at buffet and restaurant

We were very happy with the location of Ruby's and the fact that the Bryce Canyon shuttle stopped at this hotel about every 15 minutes. We stayed in the Ponderosa, second floor, and asked for a pet-free room. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was a bit lumpty, however, and the carpet should be replaced. The breakfast buffet (it's also offered at lunch and dinner) was great - tasty and many choices. There is a general store nearby if you need something. Ruby's staff were all pleasant and helpful. All in all, a great experience.
