We had booked three nights but stayed only one night as we had seen Bryce NP and nothing else to do in Bryce Canyon City. Luckily, we were allowed to cancel the other nights and move on. The heater was off the wall in the first room so we were given another room. The area around the lodges was VERY slippery and not sanded. Good gift shop and restaurant.

Nice hotel, scary to get to in once it's dark in winter

Room type (booked for 2A+1C): standard room, 2 queen beds Upgrades: none, but also didn't try to request one Location: great location with easy access to Bryce Canyon NP, however we drove from Zion in a snow storm and it was possibly the scariest drive we have ever done. With heavy snow, low visibility, dirt roads due to the road closures and slippery icy roads following snow ploughs. What should have taken 45 mins took us over 6hrs. If we hadn't pre-booked, we likely wouldn't have stayed. Service: average Parking: easy enough out back (not undercover) and we were lucky to park so the sun warmed our car up a bit and got some of the snow off. Noise: none Views: of the nearby hotel Room: good, comfortable. Beds: Great, they were nice big queen size beds! Pillows: good Bathroom: a little quirky, the entry of the bathroom with the sinks is carpet (which is odd for a snowy location) and then the main area with toilet and shower is tiles. Our tiles were loose and moving around under our feet. Room amenities: room had a fridge and nice toiletries.

We chose this hotel for its close proximity to the National Park. The rooms are sited in various blocks away from the main building and are fairly basic but adequate. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice.

My husband and 2 teenagers stayed here a couple of nights in November. We didn’t know anything about this place but soon realized who Ruby was and the long history of this place, which made our stay even better. It was well located to Bryce Canyon, which was why I booked online it in the first place. This hotel is very spread out and has loads of rooms. Also, a nice added bonus was the breakfast buffet and the dinner buffet right there. Because it’s off-season, the restaurants are limited in this area, so I was worried we wouldn’t get a good meal. But I didn’t need to worry at all. Our room was spacious and clean and parking wasn’t a problem either. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Hotel was well appointed. The on site restaurant had good food selections. The buffet breakfast was included and the service we received from a particular waiter was excellent. It is nice to know that the wait staff is properly trained and understands their attention to the needs of the patrons is key to the patrons having a pleasant experience. The gift shop was in good taste.
