Large property, clean rooms, pretty busy all the time. I would recommend getting to breakfast or dinner early otherwise there is a long line. Good shops, nice warm lobby with fireplace and a very cosy feel for a large property. Location is great, only a few miles from Bryce Canyon NP. If you go in the winter try and park your car out of the shade as the frosty mornings you will have to de-ice the car if you leave it in the shade.

This motel is very close to the Bryce Canyon. A 10 min drive. It saves our time, especially if you wont to visit the canyon at down. There is free large parking space. The motel`s lobby is decorated with horns of elk and deer, stylized to the wild west, with many wooden beams, and a stone fireplace. The staff of the motel was very happy to serve us and send them to the room, although there were a lot of visitors and even a small turn. The room was spacious and comfortable. There were a microwave, a coffee mashine with coffee, refrigerator, a hairdryer. Wi-Fi works well. Also there were a big-size comfortable beds with a quality mattresses and warm blankets – it is very important for travelers who are tired after a long driving and are take off after a long walk in the canyon. There is a large store with souvenirs, cowboy clothes, indian things, knives, belts, hats and many photos that tell us about this region`s history, about the motel. This is a place with its own history and atmosphere.

the food is very average and the rooms are really tired but this is all about location. The entrance to the NP is literally down the road, the lobby does have some comfortable lounges by a warm fire which in December is awesome. So I stayed here for uber easy access to the Bryce Canyon trails and lookouts and apart from staying actually at the Bryce Lodge this is easily the best place. If you care hugely about high quality rooms, decor and gourmet food then this is not the place for you but completely adequate for a couple of days.

Our experience at this hotel was pretty lousy. Check-in went okay, we where put in a pretty dated room, but okay. There was some maintenance going on but we really enjoyed our visit to the canyon and a very good steak in the restaurant afterwards. It all went downhill from there. The next day we had breakfast at some clinical conference room and after a long day of hiking, found the restaurant closed. We could go to the same conference room for a soup and salad buffet. The staff was quite blunt, saying another restaurant was “only” 25 minutes drive away. No notice ahead, no apologies, just take it or leave it. Absolutely terrible. I’d advise everybody going to Bryce to just take half a day for visiting, which is more than enough and steer clear of this commercial-monopoly-hotel.

Very old and lots of upstairs footsteps.

We were sorry we booked a ground floor room at this place. The first night was not a big deal, but the last night we had very little sleep. Due only to the loud person walking around the room. Who ever it was they had no regard to how loudly they stomped around the room.Well it sounded as if they were stomping! Some folks are just unconscious to others around them. It was only one person above our room. The first night it was a couple, and they were aware of their foot steps. They were obviously trying not to walk loudly. The heater/Ac is very loud in some rooms.Large gap in entrance door frame let cold air into room. The hotel is very old and it is very hard to take that old smell out of a room that has had ten thousand people in it since 1904.High dusting not done very often.I am tall enough to see dust buildup on top of dresser/TV/ stand . It is a historic building and not a bad hotel but the rooms above should have signage asking people to be soft walking....yeah right! Like how many people would respect that notion?
