We’d stayed at The Grey Wolf Inn about 10 years ago. Happy to see it so well maintained and updated. The room was large, comfortable and well-appointed. And loved the shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers in the shower! No small bottle waste! Breakfast was good and snacks during the day were a hit with the husband. Cannot say enough about the caring and helpful staff (Laura-hope I have that correct and Kristen especially). I unfortunately took an ice fall that required a doctor. Laura found an open ER, gave excellent directions and followed up to see all was well. Kristen was exceptional the following day, making sure all was well. We had to cut our visit short but hope to return in the Spring.

dream of a lifetime

Our stay was like leaving our own home each day to visit Yellowstone. The staff were AMAZING...helpful, friendly, and efficient, almost like family. Everything in the lodge was clean, in working order, and well maintained. Our breakfast each morning was always ready on time, hot was hot, and cold was cold. Fruit was fresh, and utensils, plates, etc were well stocked. Tables were kept cleaned up, and trash was quickly eliminated. Someone was always at the desk for assistance, and if someone even looked like thay had a question, the staff was right on it!

We were caught blind sides by an error in scheduling and as a last walkin we found this delightful place that was most accommodating. After checking in to our room it was so nice to see an iron, ironing board. Then there was the walking stick in the room plus a,Yoga mat. Of course there was the normal necessities that most hotels have. Each bed had 4 different pillows.Yes if we come back to Yellowstone National Park We will stay there. Oh did I mention the room was remarkable clean.

Comfortable accomodations, friendly staff, great breakfast & Location!

We just visited Yellowstone for the first time, we really had a great experience with Laurie at the front desk helping us modify our original reservations with a third party co. The room was very clean and comfortable, loved their added perks like freshly baked cookies in the afternoon and smore's for night time!! We took the free town tour they offer one evening which gave interesting history tidbits. Great location to the park and every shop or restaurante you might want. Highly recommend this and will return if we get the opportunity!!

Love this hotel! A nice change from no perks inside Yellowstone lodges. Hubby said we should've stayed here for the whole Yellowstone visit instead of breaking the stay. Free breakfast, which was more than sufficient to fuel us for the day at the park. Bonus point is free drinks, snacks, and fruits in the breakfast place available all day. Also at night you get free smores kit that each family member can use at their fire pit outside the lobby. Really fun highlight of our day, after long hikes in YNP. My kids loved their amenities, food and pool. You don't even have to bring your pool toys, they have noodles and balls that you can use. Hubby loved their sauna and hot tub, which is very convenient for adults to use while watching the kids at the pool. I loved the free washer and dryer. You can buy a packet of detergent for $1 or bring your own. Our room was large for family of 5 and had two comfortable queen beds. The hotel has underground parking, so hubby has a peace of mind parking our car there. One thing to keep in mind, the hotel is small compared to others, so during peak season (i.e summer), I'm sure it won't as comfortable because it'd be too busy and crowded. We went in mid September, so it was nice hotel when it's not fully booked. Just have the right expectation, and enjoy the stay. We definitely will come back if we go back to YNP again. Thank you Gray Wolf and staff! We're very pleased with everything!
