Very good place to stay
The Baymont by Wyndham has nice rooms which include a fridge, microwave, standard definition TV and free Wi-Fi, but no safe. The powerful shower was good too. The complimentary breakfast included eggs, hash browns, French toast, cereal, bread, waffles and fruit.

Nice location. 30 miles from the beautiful Glacier National Park. Close to Whitefish shopping and restaurants. Car is a must. Rooms were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Hot breakfast was good. I liked the scrambled eggs and link sausage. My wife did not, thought the eggs were runny

Room was fine, but they sure made us nervous........
Like others have posted, A week before we were to stay at this motel I received an email that the motel was overbooked and that our reservation was cancelled. I was in a panic wondering where in the world I would find a room a week before our travel plans.
I called the motel and they assured me that my reservation was still valid. I was a bit nervous, but everything turned out fine and we did in fact have a room.
The motel itself was ok . Breakfast was the typical stuff....boiled eggs, pastry, waffles, sausage, fruit, yogurts, etc. I had booked 6 mos earlier at a price of $89.00 plus tax. We had a room on the first floor. There is no elevator, so be sure to ask for a 1st floor room unless you want to lug luggage up a flight of stairs.
I might mention, upon checking out, our bill did not ring up at $89.00, but instead at $200 night. The gal at the counter corrected it and everything ended up ok.
I suppose the $200 might have been the current walk-in rate, and maybe that is why they were cancelling reservations because they could charge more for people walking in and needing a room.

Beware of booking this property
We booked a queen room with breakfast and free wi-fi for a 3 night stay in August. This booking was confirmed by this hotel on the 26th March, nearly 5 months in advance of our stay. Just 4 days before we were to depart on our holiday, we receive an email advising that due to overbooking they were cancelling our booking. No alternative accommodation was offered, the booking was simply cancelled.
You must draw your own conclusions, but I consider this to be an apalling way to conduct buisness.
It was clear to us that room prices had significantly increased in Whitefish since our booking was made 5 months ago, I can only guess why they cancelled our booking and not the later one!!!
