Very nice Lodge. Clean, friendly and convenient. This lodge is centrally located in West Yellowstone, close to restaurants and stores(walking distance). The Restaurant and Bar are very nice and do a good job. Excellent parking, rooms are large, well laid out and recently renovated. If elevator work it would be nice. Overall well done!

I had an excellent experience during my stay here with my family in early June. Jonathon and Brayden provided outstanding hospitality throughout our visit. The room was exceptionally clean, and the check-in process was efficient. We especially enjoyed the great breakfast and the on-site restaurant, which was excellent. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for convenient accommodations near Yellowstone National Park.

Expensive - Ave Quality Rooms - Rude Staff

The biggest brand hotel near a Yellowstone Entrance. Rooms are decent average quality. The most notable thing is that the front desk staff both afternoon and morning are inexperienced and rude. A frequently mentioned issue in other reviews - so not likely to be corrected.

The worst staff! Do not recommend!

The worst stay we have ever had! The front desk staff NEEDS to be trained or changed out. We had hotel points used for our stay, and I returned to our rental cabin in another town and noticed they charged on my credit card for our entire stay. No receipt was given for charging us (at check-in or check out when I returned our keys), so I had no clue till I looked at my bank statement. Also, the entire stay, the front desk staff (multiple people with our week-long stay) were rude and very unhelpful with anything I had questions about. This is the WORST hotel. We also ran into other people staying, and they had similar complaints, plus a lady had her laundry locked in the laundry facility and said she waited 2 hours outside of it for help to get the door unlocked. The pool was broken the entire stay, which meant I could not use the gym also (they are connected). Thank goodness the overcharge issue was finally resolved within a week, but nothing was even said or done about our inconvenience in this whole debacle. I had my trip on hold because my card had $2000 taken from it, so I had no money for my trip because of them! 1000% would never recommend this hotel in Yellowstone, which is so unfortunate because it's the perfect location. You can walk to food and shops, and it's only a 3-minute drive to the entrance of West Yellowstone. It made our relaxing vacation not so relaxing with the amenity issues and unfriendly staff.

Trip Advisor Ranking Seems Too Low--We Liked the Place and Would Stay Again

Well-updated regular Holiday Inn. Mattress was good. Linens were good. Room was clean. Bath was clean. Shower was good. FDC listened to what were were hoping for and spent some effort finding a quiet spot for a light sleeper. Other staffers were helpful. I would guess originally built some years ago when Holiday Inns were the premier over the road lodging in the US. (But about a 99% successful recent update). Being a bit older footprint; the room was bigger than normal. Is not directly on the main highway, which may help the noise level. Downtown dining and tourist shopping are within walking distance. Being a bit of a throwback type of place; there is attached dining and lounge. 3.9 average rating just seems a bit low. So I'll round up to a 5.0.
