We stayed the last weekend in October the roads into the park were open. It was a last minute trip and we were able to get a room at a decent price. The room appeared to be recently remodeled. The bath/shower looked clean, but an unwrapped soap and an open, partially used bottle of shampoo were left on the tub edge. The hotel was in easy walking distance to several restaurants. The parking was a tight fit and if we had been any later to our room we would have had to park in a nearby lot. Would stay again, but insist the tub be cleaned better!

It was a nice, clean room. We were here the last weekend that Yellowstone was open for the Fall Season. This is a good place to stay if you want to visit Yellowstone, at least at the time of year that we were here. We also enjoyed the hot breakfast, which included little cheese omelettes.

On a snowmobile trip to West we opted to stay here, sight unseen & were pleasantly surprised to have door front parking for the sleds. the lobby always hat hot coffee, seating & a great fireplace! Location was perfect, easy to get in & out of, great parking for the truck & trailer, a hot tub & the room was clean, comfortable & we (3 of us) didn't run out of hot water. On an ending note, the staff was super friendly & helpful. We will be back 2019!

I got a room that had not been cleaned since the last guest had left.

A pretty rustic place definitely could use a remodel and a good housekeeping crew. There is good food right next door to them, and it is a downtown location within walking distance of shopping or the tourist shops.

Tired Looking Room

I am not a Motel fan and didn't like where our room was situated. Our door opened right onto the car park, not my cup of tea at all, and I never feel safe on the ground floor. At night, the car park was very dark, more lighting is needed. Our room was very basic with 2 x double beds / fridge / tea coffee facilities. There are also tea/coffee facilities provided in the main reception area 24 hours. The bedding certainly needs to be replaced, it was clean, but the white sheets were starting to look past their best, they looked more grey than white. The room looked tired and definitely needs refurbished. Breakfast was a definite no, no for us. The area was far too small and the choice was limited. I decided not to breakfast that day, but my husband did, he was disappointed that there was no granola or yoghurts available. All in all, I would not recommend staying at this motel and certainly not on the ground floor.
